It happen when i go go/change difference places eg: from beach change to forest smile.gif

Can current owners please share if the y580 can withstand being moved around quite frequently? According to some reviews it doesn't feel that durable.

I'm worried it wouldn't last more than 2-3 years...

no problem....
just that your laptop exhaust fan not loud enough for people to hear it ....
and face your cooling up, open up your bag abit( if u're using backpack only)....to let the hot air go out, cold air come in...best mode is hibernation

i think some laptops have the hdd protection software... where they freeze the hdd when there's a lot of movement to protect it... i know my thinkpad has it, a bit annoying cause keep freezing while watching movie on d bus.. those that dont have will get easily damaged if moved around?

As in, if I'm planning to bring it to uni/work, I'd have to lug it around in my backpack everyday. I'd like to know if it's durable enough to handle that kind of thing.

Afraid the hinges will break or something if I'm not careful haha.
