hu hu... that's quite a lot to read. to give me a quick conclusion, can i say that even if i get a pair of 1600MHz 9-9-9-24, it won't gain much compared with my current sticks (1600, 11-11-F3; and 1333, CL9-9-9-24)? Also need to stress that I don't OC, and am not a gamer.

Also make sure the voltage is correct. 1.5V. Some RAM gain lower CL but with over-voltage. But don't worry about those Corsair Vengeance, they are 1.5V

hey, i have installed cpu-z, when run for the first few timesbut it got stuck at the gpu stage, never finish, and hogging the CPU at 14% load, causing my cpu temp to shoot to 64++.

I run again, this this it does finish loading and show the main page, but at the Memory tab, it can just show Size = 8096 MB, the rest all greyed out, and the SPD page all greyed out. - what's the problem?

my nvidia driver version is 8.17.12.9555

intel HD grp 4000 version is 8.15.10.2696

this thing a=is wasting a lot of time...

my LuDaShi (chinese software) can correctly recognize my both RAM even when both of them are plugged in... just that it can't show the voltage and CL those low level info...

got any other alternative to CPU-Z or not?
