mine runs on 1249.7 MHz, both balance and lenovo dynamic mode.. using stock driver btw

I got a questions, which program is counted as bloat ware that is unnecessary? I want to clear them.

bloatware ehh.... i just uninstall the mcafee, powerdvd and some other stuff which i dun remember... dun forget to make recovery discs before you adjust stuff on your laptop

And which model you using? mine when i play the default music here my right speaker got buzzing sound one wor. Is it normal?

i'm using y580 fhd also, the blu-ray model.... to make recovery disc, just press the button beside the power button. then pick create recovery disc and choose the factory default recovery disc option. for me, it took 4 dvd and near 2 hours
as for your speaker, not sure whether it's problematic or not. try play some other sound and check whether the right speaker still got buzzing sound

it's the laptop speaker. i played sleep away in the default library in normal mode. In some part will have those kind of buzzing sound. Hmm...

not sure bout mcafee but i prefer MSE nowadays
as for gpu memory clock, not sure bout it. i checked it using gpu-z while playing phantasy star online 2 at 1600x900 reso windowed.... probably stock driver limiting it

Whoa. If i make recovery disc from my current state? I mean I haven't install anything yet since my connection over here is very slow and my hard disc is not with me. Still will use up to 4 dvds? Or it's your case only? haha

not sure since the bd-drive provided cannot burn blu-ray disc
MSE tu microsoft security essentials, free antivirus from microsoft.. been using it since beta days..
as for gc, i'll check later, probably will use other stuff to test/monitor it

Added on August 25, 2012, 1:30 amYep, since it will make backup based on default factory settings... The reason we need to make recovery disc is because microsoft didn't provide us with win 7 oem disc nowadays. So, if anything happen & u need to format, just recover it using the disc.

Hi all, attached are my 2 sticks used in my Y480.

My questions:

The timing for the Samsung 1600 stick is 11-11-F3 right? and the Team Elite 1333 is 9-9-9-24. Can they work well with different speed and CL?
How do optimize this pair, without changing any of them? I try not to sell and buy again if possible.
