Im planning to upgrade HDD to SSD, but how do I transfer my current DOS to the SSD? I bought the laptop with DOS version. Thanks.

BTW the DOS actually u can remove it if u ady install Windows....

additional 4GB makes it flawless! awesome backlit keyboard and superb speaker i must say!

can help me? been using y480 freeDOS for a few days. but I have a bit problem with the wireless connection. very unstable. sometimes fast but sometimes oso slow or just kept dc. my bro using his laptop (DELL) is fine and got 4 bars. me at same place only 1-2 bar/s. anyone facing the same problem? know any fix for this? which driver should I update? can help give me link to newest one?

For those who wanna buy Kingston 4GB 1600MHz RAM but not sure it can compatible with the default RAM, here's the picture

I'm seriously having a headache with this problem. Now got full bar from where I'm sitting but the speed is still so damn slow. I check with my bro's laptop and the speed is so fast. You guys are using Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter right? Or am I using the wrong one? Maybe my WLAN card spoilt?______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Tried connect directly to router. Working fine. Speed very fast like normal. So does this mean my WLAN card spoilt? Or maybe just driver fault? Can it be fix in some way? Hope someone can help me.

Anybody notice that the graphic switching is abit weird. If the system goes to HD4000 then even when i start a game, it wont switch back to nvidia GC. I will need to restart the computer then its ok again.

But i notice most of the time intel graphic wont be used even though i only surf the web or use microsoft word. Is there a better driver that allows more fluent switching between graphic card?

U using Beta Driver or Lenovo give one?
Lenovo give one is lousy, beta driver better a bit(but still got some bug)

Using the one given in the CD. Which beta driver is better?

I using the modified 305.53 driver which is dev version, so far I see it does improve the performance.....

not only you facing tat problem so no worry. but it can be solve i think just the driver problem. i'm facing that issue too but i forgot what i click then ok ady in the end. now my friend also asking me on that but let me figured out... some kind of short memory nowdays. haha

that you can set the setting in nvdia very easily. just right click and enter nvdia setting set the default graphic card for your particular game is nvdia instead of intel

the beta version giv wrong information when i using autocad so i nt able to use the beta drive...
