Any ones here got problems while gaming for y580 ? My problems haven solve after update the driver ......the games i played longest time is diablo 3 ~

Edit: This the temperature after i played it for 1-2 hours ~

My problems is my screen is flickering while playing games ~ the diablo 3 is most horrible screen flickering .Mt will post out screen flickering and settings for it when im free....

Is it defective of graphic card ? got this problem since the 1st bought this laptop anyone experince it....

My assassin creed also got flickering but not very noticeable at least it can play like normal ,but diablo 3 flickering can make me until headache damn serious man~

Nope, you don't have to install anything to get the keyboard backlight up.
By right, you should be able to toggle it on and off even in dos mode.

If really not working, I suggest you sent it back for checking and the sooner the better, some distributor will get you 1 to 1 replacement if they have stock within 1 week time.

sent my Y580 to service center already, hope they get a replacement for me or fixed the problem sonner. cant even function properly, felt disappointed
Btw the problem of my lappy is
1. constant crashing (win explorer stop working)
2. bluescreen
3. black screen and show no bootable device
4. screen stuck and crash while playing Darksiders 2 (tried Mass Effect but no prob)

Manufacturing defect due to mass production??

Remember months ago when I was doing research on Y580, no problem found and even when I encounter the screen color disorder and try to Google also no result.

I've just downloaded 3dmark11 but it shows that my graphic card keeps crashing and errors appearing during benchmark test.

Is there anything i can do to improve the performance?

I just bought my laptop and figuring out what to install in it as in additional softwares and etc.

Mine is the 1st assassin creed .....so got problem with diablo 3?

First assassin creed me no problem.
But I can only play it with the stock NVIDIA Graphic Driver. If I update it then it won't support and the game will crash.

Diablo 3 I didn't have oh. Paiseh, cannot help you on D3.

yeah... my Y480 working great since using using it from Aug 2012

Can't live without it... bring it to my biz trip thus make me bring two notebook inclusive office notebook ...
