hey guys juz bought my Y580 today, and today i tried to shrink my C drive but the system juz letting me to shrink it to half, which is only 400++GB, anyone can help me how to to this ?? Thanks

format only C drive or all of it??

i heard there is a issue where they delete the original drive which is that one with "Lenovo", the driver not install properly after reformat, izit true??

I bought the i7 and 1TB version

very sad now cant setup my lappy properly, sked if anythg happen i kantoi

mine was 88+ because the driver is already installed, making factory default disc now, sifu can write a proper instruction on how to reformatting all the drive??
sry coz i reli sked make wrong move then kantoi

cannot shrink oso because 4 partition is edy there, now making factory default disc

And ah izit the 3rd party partition software is usable and reliable ??? like EASEUS and GParted.

yeah a bit happy now but not so soon, I figured out the black screen often occur while the machine is setting to SLEEP mode, once go black, nvr come back
and also encounter some serious problem like it said cant boot the hdd and ask me to insert boot-disk. Anyone have these kind of issue as well?

sent my Y580 to service center already, hope they get a replacement for me or fixed the problem sonner. cant even function properly, felt disappointed
Btw the problem of my lappy is
1. constant crashing (win explorer stop working)
2. bluescreen
3. black screen and show no bootable device
4. screen stuck and crash while playing Darksiders 2 (tried Mass Effect but no prob)

not sure but then i saw there are lot of ppl encounter the same issue like me from Lenovo Forum community.
same thg like screen stuck, blue screen and all, well what to say, unfortunately im the one

mind ask which version of nvidia driver u using ???

my previous laptop also encounter this problem, the time i use the latest driver and plays HoN and the graphic looks exactly the same like what u shown. try to play it with another version of graphic card??? hope can help

not sure because i din play D3, but i did play games like Darksiders 2 and Mass Effect 2, everythg seems ok, no graphic glitch

btw if i got this prob i will juz pull the USB out a bit, by that it should works; for me

got my Y580 back now, so far the problem solved; replaced system board and RAM

++ rep for Lenovo service center services, friendly and nice technician, fixed the problem within 3 days.

try go lowyat service center. highly recommended

according to service center, they will only accept 1 on 1 replacement within the 5 days of purchase
