http://www.starproperty.my/index.php/prope...rward-to-4q2013Check the article about mah sing s projects in the Star.
Amongst others highlighted, mah sing will develop AFFORDABLE houses in sungai buloh, priced at 650-750psf inclusive discount will be 600-650psf.
I don't know to cry or to laugh,,,,,,,, affordable to whom with that kind of price? When buyers have to pay about half of their salary for home financing for 30-35 yrs, it is not a joke. We are made to perceived that that level of financing and pricing are ok for us to swallow, leaving not much room for general public to lead quality life. Something is really really not right, and I know this is not new to us.
I honestly feel it is on the high side, but still ok. If purchasing as a couple, still should be manageable. After all, in our lifetime, we only need 1 house, right? Or multiple houses so that we can spend our weekends at different holiday homes for every alternate weekends?
There must always be a range of products which are out of reach for the masses, that will only cater for those who have made it in life. It's the law of life, your binomial distribution graph. With the public transport line beginning to shape up, especially for the Greater Klang Valley, as long as places are connected, I am fine. I think its unrealistic to expect to stay in prime areas within Klang Valley if you are not earning much.
