I for one have never played wow. but i receive an email which informs me that my wow account has been "compromised/ free items/ new items/ quest/ need verification" for more than 2 years d.

those emails look superduper realistic one weh.
but i knew confirm bullshit cos i didnt even play wow lol

the real hacking will start only when RMAH is up 30/5/2012.

I am pretty convinced that it is not convention user-end security breach.

RMAH not even released yet and already got hacking activities.

wonder what happened when RMAH is released?

scary stuff guys... But i wonder why the hackers chose to attack now rather than wait till RMAH is up?

dont bother, even authenticator user also kena hack.

IF this is true, this explains why authenticator will not help at all. There's nothing you can do to prevent it except to stay away from public games for the moment.

Blizzard should really release an official statement about this.

The Harry_Pontek use the sms authenticator yesterday and hope everything turn out fine. Miraculously, the latency bar also turn green immediately after The Harry_Pontek did the authenticator thingy. Is it related? He couldn't care less as long as its playable. Hope blizzy can solve this "Should Not Happen In The First Place" issue ASAP. Blizzy is causing all D3 Peeps dizzy.

This is called session hijacking.
Where hacker get our session key to access our session in game.
If you ever get kicked out in game, reset modem and log-in as quickly as you can.
Before they get all the items.
