QUOTE(wordtalks @ Dec 4 2014, 10:25 PM) Just started swimming again these few weeks. I notice when the water is very cold, my performance drop alot. Especially breathing part. Did shiver alot too if dint move around frequent enough. So how to make my body temperature warmer? water is warmer during evening time, or swim at a faster pace in the beginning to warm yourself up quickly then slowly turn down the pace but don't stop, otherwise you will cool down again. Did shiver alot too if dint move around frequent enough. So how to make my body temperature warmer? very cold water makes you feels like suffocating, in fact extreme cold might cause death (I am talking about sub 10 degree water). Do warm up, run before swim? Also another way is to eat more to gain fat hahaha.. I am curious where do you swim? I haven't experience any extremely cold place to swim in Malaysia.

Hi All, Newbie here, can you please provide pools where I can train? I don't want to be competitive again, I just need to be back in shape...I live around Section 13 PJ, near Jaya 33. If anyone would be so kind to give me the names of the places, I can go and scout it out. Kinda lazy back reading.. I'd be happy to share my knowledge as well as I have been a competitive swimmer myself. If there's anything I can help, I'll be glad to share. But for now, I need help on the places. Thank you all
