Break 30 min = under 30 min = sub 30

Thats a pretty fast pace for 1.5KM.
Are you open water swimmer in Malaysia ?

I only swam 2 open water races in malaysia long time ago. I was under 30 min then but could also be the current. Not very experience with open water. Not sure.

Break 30 = go under 30.

Sub 30 = 30 ++

I think sub 20 is fast. sub 30 is considered average. i used to get beaten by 9-12 year old kids in the club over 1.5km. probably still get beaten now.

Sub 30 means under, below, less than 30

Btw, open water swim races are usually 1,2,4,5,10,16 KM here

1.5KM would be swim distance for a OD triathlon.

KV moving into Phase 2! Might be able to swim soon!
Corvid doesn’t seem to spread through water, but I think I will not jump into the pool just yet until my condo management actually gets people to come and maintain the pool first.

quick question:

i can swim normal pool ( not taller than my height) and i am trying to swim deep pool but there is a fear there and i dont know how to stand swim yet

so does anyone take classes to learn stand swimming or you just learn yourself in deep pool
*
i will suggest u start slow, try to usea kicking board and kick to the deeper side of the pool first.

Or u can swim with your kicking board. But best is to have a person or instructor beside just to avoid, as u know, anything can happen in just a split sec

Help! I need advice.

I have been learning for swimming for more than 6 months.

I know how to swim breaststroke (not very good, docy leg part got problem) and freestyle.

But my coach told me that my body is very stiff and the bottom half of my body is sinking downward. Hence making me keep on like trying to float out and grasping for air.

I am do gym and train karate on weekday and swimming on weekend. Is this the reason why my body is stiff and caused my bottom half to sink downward?

Other than that, I also find that my stamina aka breath is not that good, very fast run out of air...

Need advice. Thank you

Do more stretching before and after swim.
its normal for your body to be stiff because u said that u do gym.

Swimmer have flexible body. have you see any pro swimmer are as fit as those that workout at gym ?
