Move down both rear windows, if both also around 65%, means 'NORMAL'. sweat.gif

Quick answer: YES, IT WAS NORMAL

It will FOREVER be normal unless you mod the door tongue.gif

TBH I don't care, cos I drive alone like 90% of the time, and even then my rear passengers won't want to wind down the window, so nobody cares that it can't go down all the way. Heck I think the only person who's ever wound down the rear window is my father tongue.gif (original BLM has retro manual hand crank rear windows icon_idea.gif) Power windows in front is good enough for me (very reliable, even though I use them every day), so definitely the right decision to save cost there. Others who use it as a family car will disagree, of course.

Guys, just had my car for 2nd service for my flx, how long do I need to stick with proton service more? 3 years? supposed I changed my engine oil to fully sync on 1st service and there's no need to change it again now, but now they need to change it again, its only 6k mileage. I tried to talk to them but they seems not taking it for only changing oil filter, and keep telling me flx need to change every 5k mileage, no matter fully or semi sync, is this right? don't really like it this way...

Known Issues
1. [FLX]CVT light comes on while driving.
Indicates that the CVT is experiencing abnormal operation condition, cause by overheat, belt slip, pulley slip among other reasons. Usually the car will go into safe mode where your speed will be limited to 40km/h until the condition is corrected. If possible, pull over and wait for the warning light to expire, then drive to the nearest SC.

2. [FL/FLX]Rythmic knocking sound from rear wheels that follows vehicle speed.
The sound is from the drumbrake. So far no member who experienced this has been given an explanation as to why this occurs, except that it doesn't affect braking performance. Proceed to the nearest Proton Edar Service Center (NOT authorised SCs) or better yet, CoSE to have it replaced.

3. [FLX]CVT variants experience more than usual engine braking when going downhill
This is normal, as the CVT variant is tuned differently than a normal A/T car. When detecting that the car is going down a decline, the CVT will downshift, causing the RPM to shoot up and the engine to whine quite loudly. However, it is advised to ease your throttle control (press or release slowly and gently) to prevent belt slip.

above are the known issues stated on the 1st post. some questions here, hope some expert here to help.
1. is this happen to all saga cvt?
2. cvt faces the drumbrake problem also? can this being solve by service at SC? after service, will this problem back again and again with no real cure?
3. since this is normal, it simply means it isnt a problem, right?

thank you

1. not all .. some will some wont..
2. this wan should be the 1st batch will have the problem, 2nd batch not quite sure..
3. its normal as cvt has its own engine braking.. u need to control ur throttle wisely..

i thk the service booklet gt two categories...severe service or periodic service...one is 5k once, one is 10k once, but dunno how the sc judge which table we should follow.

But my dad was buy 2nd hand saga blm last year, airbag gt problem, the sc said if 1st 3 service done at sc then can get warranty for 3 years..no need go sc service for 3 years..so my dad entitle for that claim..

dafuq?

You can just go to any spare part shop and request for cheaper ones leh... Like the one I got is the Gen2 antenna for around RM40 only. You can even put VIva antenna, then it will look like cockroach. XD
