With the latest update on the HTC stock rom, the phone feels sluggish. Even after restarting and trying to switch or start apps, there's a very noticeable lag.

Anything that I can do to speed things up?

wat is ur version for stock rom?? i saw the sense 4.0 update but still shown 3.6 y ah?

If back to Bricked kernel still feel lag maybe you can try the mod by iba21, plan to try out myself when i flashed back Bricked V1.4 but since it running smooth now so i put on hold with the mod

Stock ROM will never get the Sense 4.0 update, as mentioned by HTC months ago.

My stock software number is 3.33.707.106

Android 4.0.3

The 3 kernels that I flashed individually and used for few days each and noticed that : -

1) Sebastian Kernel v1.5        Both Core Online and max freq 1.5, drain battery bit fast

2) Faux 008b8 v5                  Both Core online and we can set our own max freq, it eats battery like water..

3) Bricked v1.4                      Only one core online and we can set oour own max freq, battery consumption are ok for me..

But both Faux & Sebastian Kernel are really fast , no laggy or hang  or no reboot but for Bricked kernel laggy and I have encounter 3 occasions of reboot..

Any1 faced this problem.. As per XDA forum, the latest ViperSs Rom got some issue in Bricked Kernel v1.4..

really sluggish & alot issue.. my mum said wanna sell her xe. answer/call until her head like got tumor. she said damn pain.. if use other hp no issue.. sent to shop & ask them sent 2 htc liau.. no sis report at all..

you shud straight away send to SIS..no need to send via shop..usually the dont care about post-sales service...go to SIS..faster deal..

but when i check my min freq at system tuner "tab times"
i see most of the time my XE use 192mhz not 384mhz why?

Yes, I also face same thing when I use Bricked 1.4.. Anyway, there is update on Sebastian V1.5.1 kernel.. I have flashed it, to test for few days..

It is hard for me to stay away from bricked's sweep2wake...i think im satisfied with my XE now..just waiting for the next update by team venom..

The reason i flashed this v1.5.1 sebastian kernel because it has USB OTG feature. I wanted to test this.. well it is really good . I can play music frm pen drive straight away with copying to my sd card....

Bricked 1.6?? Mine only 1.4 ooo

Same goes to me...most of the time on 192Mhz..but under cpu tab it shows min freq is 384Mhz..cpumaster apps also show the same..and i can feel less lagginess now..

like we plug iphone in usb port (car audio ) and the stereo system play our music inside our phone?
