Using pengasus 2.5 with sebastian kernel 1.5 instead of bricked.. i found that there is a huge improvement for my phone, much more smoother than bricked 1.4.

how do you measure performance..(using bricked kernel)

even when i underclock my Sensation, to 972mhz playing game like dungeon hunter3, real racing 2 everything is smooth. but ui is a bit jerky??

or use 1.56GHz everything is smooth but play temple run / brave still jerky like hell.

or just based on benchmark score?

i everything will capture it into image store it into my skydrive + email

Make sure you are on the newest ICS Firmware
Boot into recovery
Nandroid, Nandroid, NANDROID!!!
Wipe data/factory reset if required
Install TouchCream.zip from sdcard
Install gapps.zip from sdcard
Wipe Cache And Dalvik
Install kernel of your choice, Bricked, Faux or TamCore etc, cuz stock kernel eats battery like an american eats burgers
Reboot (first boot might take a while)
Enjoy!

y my xe batt drain so fast huh? i only running whatsapp n ubersocial.not heavy use

The 3 kernels that I flashed individually and used for few days each and noticed that : -

1) Sebastian Kernel v1.5        Both Core Online and max freq 1.5, drain battery bit fast

2) Faux 008b8 v5                  Both Core online and we can set our own max freq, it eats battery like water..

3) Bricked v1.4                      Only one core online and we can set oour own max freq, battery consumption are ok for me..

But both Faux & Sebastian Kernel are really fast , no laggy or hang  or no reboot but for Bricked kernel laggy and I have encounter 3 occasions of reboot..

Any1 faced this problem.. As per XDA forum, the latest ViperSs Rom got some issue in Bricked Kernel v1.4..

Stock ics with hboot version 1.27.u rooted ur phone ?
Was it much diff to a non rooted xe ?
