Can recommend a good screen protector? The stock screen protector makes the display grainy, and got bubbles at the corners.

i'm using ARHD XE + sebastianfm 1.5
huge improvement over stock rom, my antutu score was 53xx on stock, jumped to 6500 on ARHD (1.5GHz).. nenamark 2 score 53 fps. score could be higher, coz i'm using a cikai class 4 microsd. and Beats audio is nice sebastianfm vs faux123 vs bricked, which kernel has better power management? s-off isn't required to flash rom and recovery. mine is still s-on because my hboot version is tricky to s-off, so i flash custom rom by following this guide
[GUIDE] Flashing roms with S-ON and 1.27 HBOOT |

QUOTE(kukulong10 @ Aug 2 2012, 02:56 PM) Using pengasus 2.5 with sebastian kernel 1.5 instead of bricked.. i found that there is a huge improvement for my phone, much more smoother than bricked 1.4. sebastianfm = basically stock kernel with overclocked CPu and GPU, so it's supposed to be very stablebricked = optimized for power management faux123 = optimized for performance i've only tried sebastianfm & bricked, Antutu & Nenamark 2 benchmark scores are higher on sebastianfm, but better battery life on bricked with badass CPU governor. |

QUOTE(queenc @ Aug 2 2012, 03:26 PM) how do you measure performance..(using bricked kernel) nenamark 2 for GPU benchmarkeven when i underclock my Sensation, to 972mhz playing game like dungeon hunter3, real racing 2 everything is smooth. but ui is a bit jerky?? or use 1.56GHz everything is smooth but play temple run / brave still jerky like hell. or just based on benchmark score? antutu for general benchmark (CPU, 2D & 3D GPU, RAM, I/O, SD card r/w, battery also can) maybe the problem with temple run:brave is the app itself? |

QUOTE(chickenducksoup @ Aug 3 2012, 09:52 AM) guys You need to flash/install 4ext recovery first, then do those bold steps from inside recovery. How to install ? Download ROM (Download link in 2nd post) Download Gapps: http://tinyw.in/Ko5N Make sure you are on the newest ICS Firmware Boot into recovery Nandroid, Nandroid, NANDROID!!! Wipe data/factory reset if required Install TouchCream.zip from sdcard Install gapps.zip from sdcard Wipe Cache And Dalvik Install kernel of your choice, Bricked, Faux or TamCore etc, cuz stock kernel eats battery like an american eats burgers Reboot (first boot might take a while) Enjoy! how i do that 2? in bold? by using which file? |

QUOTE(droidtrix @ Aug 7 2012, 10:32 AM) The 3 kernels that I flashed individually and used for few days each and noticed that : - For my bricked kernel, I set minimum freq to 384 and that seems to make the lag go away1) Sebastian Kernel v1.5 Both Core Online and max freq 1.5, drain battery bit fast 2) Faux 008b8 v5 Both Core online and we can set our own max freq, it eats battery like water.. 3) Bricked v1.4 Only one core online and we can set oour own max freq, battery consumption are ok for me.. But both Faux & Sebastian Kernel are really fast , no laggy or hang or no reboot but for Bricked kernel laggy and I have encounter 3 occasions of reboot.. Any1 faced this problem.. As per XDA forum, the latest ViperSs Rom got some issue in Bricked Kernel v1.4.. |

Was it much diff to a non rooted xe ? Damn thanks for the offer as I leave in shah alam, sabah is too Far away. Wld love to visit there sometime.heard the have The bestest beach To root your official stock ROM, read http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1632553 or you could just simply flash a custom ROM, because all custom ROMs are already rooted. to do that, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1631861 For beginners, I suggest Android Revolution HD. It's like stock ROM on steroids. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1098849 |

QUOTE(kiew @ Aug 22 2012, 01:43 PM) I just got myself a htc sensation, and I was reading regarding on the custom rom for it, so far, most people use android revolution hd, vipers room, insert coin and elegancia, I am curious about the difference for each of it? only summary is enough..sorry for all the trouble main differencesarhd - sense 3.6, vry few built-in tweaks, the feel is very close to stock rom vipers - sense 4, lot's of built-in tweaks, can use custom themes to change icons insert coin - i duno, sorry elegancia - comes in 3 versions: sense 3.6, sense 4, and sense-less (meaning you can use 3rd party launchers like go launcher etc), good number of built-in tweaks though not as many as vipers, can use custom themes you have to try them all to know which one fits your taste. choice of kernel is also very important. |
