since you used sebastian before anthrax, flash Socali's kernel reset mod (search his posts in virtuous inquisition thread) to remove any extra scripts etc that sebastian may have left behind. then without rebooting, wipe cache + dalvik, and flash anthrax, use default settings and choose xondemand. after flashing anthrax dont reboot, wipe cache + dalvik again. after that, reboot phone, leave it for 10 minutes, then reboot phone again. dont use smartassv2, it's buggy. install setcpu and make sure your phone is using the right governor. you can governor settings using setcpu too. the phone will use three-phase frequency most of the time when it's not idle, so i set this to 918MHz. goodluck

in case you want to undervolt, use system tuner or flash D-shell's undervolt.

edit: i found that my phone can only undervolt -12.5mV on anthrax, compared to -100mV on sebastianfm. probably because anthrax, like bricked, has some undervolting built-in the kernel.

im downloading CM10...seems like everything works except front facing camera...just trying for a few days probably...will sure go back to ViperS...

Added on August 30, 2012, 2:32 pmdone flashing..but without the gapps...seems nice also...feel like playing a small tablet (my viewpad is running AOSP ICS)...but now revert back to vipers again...probably tomorrow will flash cm10 with the gapps and play aroing the rom during the weekend.

setcpu to adjust cpu & governor settings. i prefer it over system tuner because in my case setcpu's settings really stick after reboots, and it offers more governor tweaks. system tuner cpu settings sometimes dont stick on my phone, dunno why. install the version of setcpu for rooted users. setcpu also has profiles that can change cpu settings according to scenarios like battery level, launching certain apps, temperature etc.

yup that's the right kernel reset mod.

how the batt life?

i changed the values in setcpu's governor settings.

batt life seems ok, on standby currentwidget shows -33 to -50mA drain, battery monitor widget shows -6 to -20, i dunno which one is correct lol. i just did a fresh reinstall of vipers, i will do a few recharge cycles this weekend and see how it goes.

Guess what Guys, I have faced major laggness, hanged for couple of times until jam.. while sms and also during receiving calls.. I just did reflashed the Vipers Rom without wipe, seems to be looks ok for me for now..

Wait for a day and see how it behave...

connect to wifi. Go to settings > about phone > software update and check for any updates and let it update itself and you will get ICS.

Casing maybe you can find in garage sale. I personally recommend case-mate tough if you dont mind the bulk.

Phone getting hot when charging is fairly normal. If you have not notice, prolonged usage of the phone might lead to heat as well. Noticebly the bottom part.

I believed I have messed up my set by reflashed Faux Kernel recently, it behave strangely.. It is not working as smooth as before even I did flashed Kernel Reset, but it does not worked..

I think I need to reflash the Rom after superwipe again.. by tonight and check how it goes..

Will report back tomorrow ...
