QUOTE(nuttyking91 @ May 21 2012, 10:53 AM) there's no safe way to downgrade the bootloader yeah? I can see there are many disadvantahes of using HTCDev unlocker... dilemma... for dunno what reason, I cant play all of the phone's video format other than the own recording... and i found that if i transfer PDF from comp to phone via cable, i can get it to open in the phone, but when i DL straight from the web to phone, can be opened... what's the reason behind this? SD card compatibility? I'm on Official ICS with HBOOT 1.27 too.. I have gone through htcdev procedures and found no problem with it. Since I'm not planning to have custom ROM on my XE and just wanna be rooted, I'm currently extremely happy with mine.. =)

QUOTE(SiNkInG @ Jun 1 2012, 11:45 AM) thanks for the reply... im currently using ICS stock os... is there any way to keep the temp at normal level? are you ppl using stock battery or changed it to a 3rd party batt? That's normal temp on most of dual core smartphones. If you wanna lower down the temp, then lower down the cpu speed. To do this you need to be rooted at least. Custom ROM will be better.

QUOTE(Higuain @ Jun 2 2012, 05:42 PM) for those using stock rom sense 3.6, do u guys have the 'android is upgrading' stuffs for quite awhile, every time after u restart your phone? very pissed off with my phone now. whenever i use instagram to apply effects on pictures, the phone suddenly become very slow then suddenly pop up the msg ur sd card is full. the sd card still have 1.5gb space left but suddenly (within2mins) the sd card is fully occupied. U will face that problem on Instagram when u try to post a picture taken from gallery instead of instagram camera. While u feel your phone suddenly slowing down, instagram is actually creating a file in 'sdcard/dcim/thumbnails' which could be up to 2-3GB in size. The size of that file will be increase in time depending on your number of pictures in the gallery. I'm not sure whether it's normal or bug. So i will just use instagram camera to post.

I don't need to do superwipe if I want to flash ARHD 6.6.7 from 6.6.5 right? May I simply flash the ROM without applying any backup? I mean, will I lose my data, contacts, messages, apps, etc? Thanks in advance!

QUOTE(syncguru @ Jun 25 2012, 04:19 PM) things you can do: 1) redownload 2) check md5 checksum 3) flash by the way, may I know do you backup your rom before flash? If yes, it is good idea if you restore the backup and reflash the kernel again. I'm not sure how to check md5 checksum. I can't even startup my phone. Or it can be done in 4ext recovery?

QUOTE(wlteh @ Jun 26 2012, 04:59 PM) Which version of Bricked did you download? There are currently 2 versions, one for AOSP-based and the other for Sense-based ROMs. Since you're going for ARHD, you should be flashing this one.Yes, I flash that one. Please don't tell me I bricked my device. =( Added on June 27, 2012, 10:30 amQUOTE(nabielz @ Jun 27 2012, 09:53 AM) guys, which button to print screen eh? power button + home This post has been edited by jangz.ES: Jun 27 2012, 10:30 AM

I've rooted my phone using htcdev and currently on ARHD 6.6.7. If I want to s-off my phone using JB tools, at which step I should start? Will I lose my data/contacts/apps, etc? If I fail to obtain s-off and I'm giving up (I know the JB method is quite tough), can I just quit and reboot my phone to it's current state?

I'm on ARHD 6.6.5, Bricked 1.36 and UV to -87.5mV. Is it normal for my phone to take 5-6 hours to charge from 0-100%?
