Adding to that, the 10:1 ratio is a rule of thumb for you to determine which stat to spend your gold on, due to diminishing returns when increasing resistance/armor. For example you're likely better off buying gear with extra 10 resistance instead of an extra 100 armor when you have 4000 armor but only 40 resist.

I dont think resistance have any precedence over armor.If there are any discrepancies, I think its mainly due to the nature of 10 int = 1 all res, so theres a possibility that the weird value come from rounded up/unrounded decimal value of resistance.

Hello all pro dh, I have some noob question to ask m seek help from u all..

I'm currently on act 2 inferno and I couldn't survive it.. I have no prob clearing act 1 with ease..

My current stat:
Dex 1653
Vit 615

Armor 3482
Dps 35k without ss
All resist 216 - 338
hp 21k


I did some research saying that pumping up a little resist/def can easily survive thru act 2, but some pro says that f*** def and go for super dps 1 hit kill dh.. I don't have much money so I can't spare for both def and dps.. Anybody can recommend me whether now I should f*** everything else and up my dps or stick to slowly getting my def up...

Also, on a weapon, life on hit or life on kill is better for dh? Becos Im using a 2hd Xbow, I think no point going for 'on hit' becos damn slow and 'on kill' is much better. Correct me if I'm wrong...

This dh is probably powered by MasterCard (almost all of his gear has perfect rolls), but whatever.He's still>>>>>>than Athene.

Finally downed ghom inferno yesterday. Died so many times, repair bill skyrocket. Even siege breaker was easier.

That gear isn't that hard to get man... I'm at 43% Crit Chance and 232% Crit Damage. His weapon is probably a 1.3k bow with CD + socket (huge increase in damage). I'm not too far off from him and I haven't spent a single cent in this game.. Didn't even pay for Diablo 3 lol. Annual Pass ftw.

Mind showing yours? Would like to see your other stats as well if you can manage 100k DPS without SS

what i'm wow about is not the dps..every DH can get that high
.i'm wow about the vit all res while retain the high dps

this is real canon tank build..Almost/some of his gear has ...est dex 2++,vit 1++,all res8+ ,crit chg,crit dmg
to get that stat

for those who missed out, the dps showed is actually without SS...

he use archery and steady shot we know
and yes we also know he didn't use SS
90% ilvl 63 also

amulet and ring have crit chg and crit dmg...thats why no gem slot

That is what i wanted to see. Good defensive stats with good DPS

Any DH can get up to 100k DPS if they screw their other stats but this one different. Must be powered by bot or Mastercard
