Your equipment got problem.. Not weapon.. 

So, do you get killed by elites easily?

Yea. Just play DPS. That's what DH do. Kill before they reach you.
Your attack speed is abit slow for boss fight imo..
Try look for :-
Helm - Dex + Cri% / CriDmg
Shoulder - Full dex
Amulet - AttSpd + Dex + Cri% / CriDmg
Ring - AttSpd + Dex + Cri% / CriDmg
Chest - +Max Discipline & full dex
Pant - Full dex
Bracer - Full dex
Quiver - This got everything. So, spend heavily here also no problem.
Weapon - Well, everyone got their personal preference. For me i'll take bow for the 15% extra dmg + faster attack speed + with socket. Now i using 1032 bow + emerald that grant me 70% criDmg bonus. Far better than 11xx 2h xbow. If i put star emerald that give 100% CriDMG. then same range with 1.2k~1.3k 2h xbow. Imagine how much i save from there.
I don't know if i get 1 hit ko in hell onot but i damn pissed with their skill.. no animation or watsoever.. just straight blink in front of u and you're dead..

49.9K No-SS. 28% Base Crit. Peak Crit only 180K DMG, weapon too weak (wtd it was only 1.3Mil). Making good progress, only left Inferno Diablo to slay. Having trouble upgrading cause everything better than my gear is minimum 2.5Mil

Too bad inferno doesn't scale well for groups, so boring adventuring alone.

Yes, need very high dps to kill them before they come. I Act 3 first quest in Inferno, the most tiny monster one hit KO me edi.

Just to update my current gear. Can farm most of Act III stuff and certain Act IV elites, though certain Elite mobs combination in Act III will still smack me to oblivion.


DPS is with Sharpshooter, Magic find is without Nephalem Valor

I dropped some DPS in favour of higher survivability. I consider this my 'farming' spec since it has a good balance of survivability, Magic Find and DPS. As much as people saying DH should just ditch vit and resist in favour of pure DPS build, I think surviving 2 - 3 hits is a vast improvement over getting 1 hit ko by virtually everything. I also ditched Smoke Screen and replaced it with Shadow Power (with the 65% damage reduction rune) coz for me it provides more survivability and utility.

my glove 17% IAS and + 34% Crit Damage + 73 dex + 2 others stats
ring1 +17% IAS and +68 dex
ring2 +15% IAS and i forgot what 2 other stats
quiver +15% IAS and few other stats (i got 18% IAS legendary quiver before but sold it @ 1.5m coz no moneh) lol

try looking for IAS % item with +crit damage and +dex <- but this kind of thing normally cost millions

waiting to get the boot with 13 %IAS
and Andariel Visage that have 13% IAS

shoulder later i look for the one that have highest DEX and vit i can afford
same goes to bracers and boots

i dun really care about health or resistance, enemies can't come close to me..
if my HP 30 k also, 1-2 inferno surely died..
DEATH is unavoidable.. 

How does a DH solo invulnerable mobs? I just started hell... How can a dh solo the boss mob effectively?
