You are not recommending people to flash to what ?

rocket v1

i came from rocket 23 gingerbread heading towards rocket v1 ics
installed abyss, rebooted recovery, full wipe, flash rom , reboot, now on 30 secs automatic forced restarts.

tried injecting franco kernel, reboot recovery, abyss again, reboot recovery, re-flash rocket v1, still same results of forced restarts.

fed up, now pc-odin myself back to darkynote gb. all good. applied cfroot xxkka for the cwm and gonna head back to rocket 22, then to rocket 23 and gonna sit down here drink my coffee and go to work in a while.

i had a very shitty night. so unfruitful. the more i read about rocket v1 the more imma gonna avoid it.

i heard about the caller id with the + that names wont appear. dunno if happening to u all or not.

guess i really have to stick to rocket 23 and chillout until all the storms have passed then i'll move my @ss to ics.

I too read many issues some users has installing ticket v1. Reboots midway or reboot after install, failed installation. My installation was a breeze. I install on top of midteam n only wipe caches no data wiping using default recovery
Those having issues suggest install stock German ics first n use it as a base
I would say looks like rocket hss a winner here

Added on May 16, 2012, 7:02 amUpcar ; you should have just need boot to recovery mode install abyss 4.2 n use it to restore back your gb rom.

Guys, wanna ask lil bit here.

If I come from the official GB , and would like to try ICS, what would you guys suggest me to go? The official German ICS or any other custom ROM? Why?

I flash rocket v1 from alba v3 by wiping cache and dalvik cache.
Stuck at boot screen forever (more than 15 minutes)

Flash abyss 4.2 and reboot recovery then flash rocket v1 again by wiping cache and dalvik cache and still stuck at booting screen.

Finally I wipe data and success flash to rocket v1..


First note of rocket rom...
The quick panel setting seems not working even after reboot..

When is the Official ICS with Premium Suite available OTA for malaysia?

Launched last night? How can I apply for this upgrade? from Phone Update in the settings menu?

don't know what went wrong I can't change the system/app to R/W either...is that mean I don't have full root? I came from GB with full root and follow this step:-

a) if you are on GB, go to CWM, Full Wipe and flash AlBa ROM.

now try the Rocket ROM see how..

I confused for that ady ...hope somebody can show us the direction...hehe...

Clearly you have lost full root
