Yes, Criskelo V3 is smoother than Midnote Team 1.1. Did not try 1.2. Just tested it 2 hours only. Found same issue as original German ICS build. Camera is still buggy - sometimes it just freeze when launch. Relaunch it OK. When want to switch to video record mode - freeze again. Have to close it and relaunch to get it working
Use VideoCam Illusion app solve such issues

Added on May 14, 2012, 8:47 amTo the user who was asking for the Vooder Louder apk : here it is from my box
https://www.box.com/s/5cf2291b69dfb1eda907

I bought this app for my previous SGS II and it works well on the Note. As is a paid app, during launch and mid way it will prompt you for purchase verification. So I dont know whether it will work on your Note - try it anyway

Hi benny,

isn't the kernel (Criskelo/Midnote) is consider unsafe to use?

Well this safe or unsafe I leave it to each user. There are just too much of such debate just because ONE user kena hardbrick !!!
If you want to do any stuffs using the LPY recovery, than just don't do it. If you want to flash any stuff ( modem, rom, kernel ) than install Abyss Kernel 4.2 first and use its recovery to do it. This is what I has been doing the past few days
One thing is obvious clear ( tested and reported twice here ) the LPY recovery CANNOT be used to restore any rom or even backup - this was reported too by several users at XDA. So in principle use back the GB Abyss Kernel 4.2 - and I have been using it pass few days to backup and restore my various ICS roms from the LPY recovery
Okay..thanks for the explanation and suggestion...... thumbup.gif

don't know what went wrong I can't change the system/app to R/W either...is that mean I don't have full root? I came from GB with full root and follow this step:-

a) if you are on GB, go to CWM, Full Wipe and flash AlBa ROM.

now try the Rocket ROM see how..

now need to restore back the rooted GB and start again...however I'm unable to install the Abyss Kernel 4.2 and when bootup to recovery, its keep blinking at the screen...can I just install the Abyss Kernel 3.9 and flash from there?

Now want to try the Rocket ROM...

Than your only choice is to flash abyss 3.9 and restore back with full root any GB backup. Using 3.9 restoring any ICS rom will not give you root back
You need abyss 4.2 ONLY than can flash the rocket ICS or you can try flashing Franco kernel - seems can use too
*
ok...now restoring rooted GB and searching Franco kernel and download...thanks Benny...

if u r using non rooted then u cant flash to rocket rom v1..the best way is using pre-root lpy then flash the rocket rom v1..i would like to recommend u to flash from rocket rom GB but seem many ppl having trouble while flash it direct from GB so the only solution for now is go for pre-root LPY..
*
Yes I do have problem flashing from rooted GB to rocket v1....first I can't flash the Abyss Kernel 4.2, then benny recommend try franco and I did manage to flash to rocket v1 but it keep rebooting every like 10 to 15 second...so now back to restoring rooted GB again...

sooner or later, i still need to learn about it, so i might doing it now rite...? biggrin.gif

so back to my question, the pre rooted rom on front page is non-wipe rite..?
*
then what is your concern now? why not root your phone, purchase TB...back your app+data then flash whatever ROM you want...

Isn't that solve the problem?

At the moment i have no intention of flashing any other ROM as the current RR V1 is good enough. Can't convince myself to flash LPF kernel yet hmm.gif
*
me too currently also on RR v1 and don't see a reason why need to flash LPF kernel and the modem...
