Yes, Criskelo V3 is smoother than Midnote Team 1.1. Did not try 1.2. Just tested it 2 hours only. Found same issue as original German ICS build. Camera is still buggy - sometimes it just freeze when launch. Relaunch it OK. When want to switch to video record mode - freeze again. Have to close it and relaunch to get it working
Use VideoCam Illusion app solve such issues

I bought this app for my previous SGS II and it works well on the Note. As is a paid app, during launch and mid way it will prompt you for purchase verification. So I dont know whether it will work on your Note - try it anyway

Well this safe or unsafe I leave it to each user. There are just too much of such debate just because ONE user kena hardbrick !!!
If you want to do any stuffs using the LPY recovery, than just don't do it. If you want to flash any stuff ( modem, rom, kernel ) than install Abyss Kernel 4.2 first and use its recovery to do it. This is what I has been doing the past few days
One thing is obvious clear ( tested and reported twice here ) the LPY recovery CANNOT be used to restore any rom or even backup - this was reported too by several users at XDA. So in principle use back the GB Abyss Kernel 4.2 - and I have been using it pass few days to backup and restore my various ICS roms from the LPY recovery

Clearly you have lost full root

Than your only choice is to flash abyss 3.9 and restore back with full root any GB backup. Using 3.9 restoring any ICS rom will not give you root back
You need abyss 4.2 ONLY than can flash the rocket ICS or you can try flashing Franco kernel - seems can use too

if u r using non rooted then u cant flash to rocket rom v1..the best way is using pre-root lpy then flash the rocket rom v1..i would like to recommend u to flash from rocket rom GB but seem many ppl having trouble while flash it direct from GB so the only solution for now is go for pre-root LPY..

sooner or later, i still need to learn about it, so i might doing it now rite...?

Since last nite until this morning... its.... sooo sooo hahahahaha.. Im reverting back to my paranoidandroid after lunch.. beh tahan lah.. i need mods >.< i can live without the smemo stuff and all for now.. 

Im pretty sure some other people will make mods out of these official roms hehe!
