i came from rocket 23 gingerbread heading towards rocket v1 ics
installed abyss, rebooted recovery, full wipe, flash rom , reboot, now on 30 secs automatic forced restarts.

tried injecting franco kernel, reboot recovery, abyss again, reboot recovery, re-flash rocket v1, still same results of forced restarts.

fed up, now pc-odin myself back to darkynote gb. all good. applied cfroot xxkka for the cwm and gonna head back to rocket 22, then to rocket 23 and gonna sit down here drink my coffee and go to work in a while.

i had a very shitty night. so unfruitful. the more i read about rocket v1 the more imma gonna avoid it.

i heard about the caller id with the + that names wont appear. dunno if happening to u all or not.

guess i really have to stick to rocket 23 and chillout until all the storms have passed then i'll move my @ss to ics.

hmm... i wouldnt worry much about it since mine already increased due to pc odin flashing, more info about my findings on the binary counter here

Via mobile odin or pc odin?

No point loading cf-root since you already hv cwm+root on the early steps. I dont load cf-root either.

People using cf-root if they load kernel with mobile odin to preserve root.

Since this involved new bootloader, would be nice to load via pc odin. Fresh installation just like factory release

You hv to be clear. Cwm can be access via:
1. Volumne up+home+power
2. CWM apk

It something like, if you dont have superuser icon doesnt mean you are not rooted. But if you fail to run superuser means you are not rooted

PAD is a really nice ROM, except for my problem with AOSP, missing CWM for no apparent reason. Everything else very good, I think it's smoother then CM9(my two cents )

if you know how to use ODIN, yes it is available. if you want ICS the normal(OTA update) method, you need to wait, not yet released for Malaysia

so the official ICS in Malaysia is officially 22 days later than previously promised - first quarter of 2012.  Not too bad i think. 

Just flashed to Malaysia ICS from TW/HK ICS with mobile odin - wipe dalvik only.  Note rebooted without any incident - save me few hours to redo everything.
