It seems the battery usage is not very impressive in this official ICS.And I cant change the permission of the file eventhough I rooted it using the method mentioned by antu (Boot into CWM,install CWM.zip and then flash SU-superuser.zip)

yes, i found, laggy, high memory usage, hot, fast battery drop.

half an hour on wifi for website will drop 10%

Since the photos already exist in your phone book, 1st, try to go to account under setting and click syc.
If doesn't work, reinstall the Whatsapps and see whether it work or not.

have you previously used S Memo before? did you wipe before flashing with new ROM?

i have some files on S Memo, so when i got ICS yesterday, I ended up with S Memo and S Note. based on some of the feedback and also from personal opinion, i think not necessary to have S Memo and S Note. S Note seems like more advanced version of S Memo. I actually dun mind S Memo being removed (but of course my files should first be converted to S Note format).

I followed you guide to flash ics stunner. It's ok worked fine
Now I download Malaysian version ics than copy to external sd, than I tried to flash with CWM but it said something wrong with my file. Tried many times but failed to flash using zip file on sdcard. I don't know is wrong ...?

Flash the malaysian ICS ver too, batt life is bad. maybe have to wait for a safe custom kernel as god knows how many wakeclock on stock kernel

Since last nite until this morning... its.... sooo sooo hahahahaha.. Im reverting back to my paranoidandroid after lunch.. beh tahan lah.. i need mods >.< i can live without the smemo stuff and all for now..

Im pretty sure some other people will make mods out of these official roms hehe!

yupe have to sit and wait..be patient...me on RR V1 now but the battery life seem not that good...can't go into deep sleep..always at 87%

seriously that bad ar this m'sia ics....hmmm guess i've to put a hold it 1st....since my 1st priority is battery...

Hi everyone, wanna know how to solve this problem. I wanna know how to mute a SMS tone when during in phone?

Looks like I am not the only 1 having battery life problem with this official ICS haha.Checked partial and kernel wakelocks but nothing seems wrong.As rebooto said,battery life is my main priority.I can live without S-memo stuff.Hopefully somebody will come out a good rom out of these official roms

It's not that bad lah... those non rooted users will benefit with the ICS updates.. For the rest of us rooted users and those who tested out many2 different custom roms edi.. its just a bit on the low key.. coz we have tested others with other capabilities and functions
