Old klang road from kl to sunway stretch not long between numbers of traffic light; sure cannot go high speed. Time is 315am; few cars only on the road. Car crash that way. Wanna blame the car? I'll say it; don't buy pug, it will crash badly.(sarcasm)

it was a 308 turbo. 408 doesn't have panoramic roof. lucky it was a peugeot. otherwise, it could have been much worse.

3:15am Jln Kelang Lama towards NPE/Sunway/PJ, front of BHP/Sime Tyres which is under the NPE bridge, a car has just crashed. It's a red colour Peugeot car plat number 'PJX x308' with 'P' sticker.

So what car to buy? Which car still haven't been involved in an accident? I've even seen Skyline and Ferari involved in fatal accident. So which car to buy? Please enlighten us. blink.gif

Bro Skyjack/lowpro or anyone here can give me the phone number for Seremban Peugeot's Service Center?

I've already made my reservation for the first inspection on 16/7 but then suddenly I have to go to China and reschedule my appointment to 20/7. But then, I couldn't come back in time for the appointment and called in Glenmarie SC to reschedule again. Apparently, they received a memo to hold all future appointments until further notice. Reson given is that the Glenmarie SC is already full for one month, but then, they can always set appointment after that. I think they just made up that reason for cover up.

Anyhow, I'm looking for alternative location to do my first inspection and currently I'll check out PJ and Seremban for alternative. I've got the PJ number but could not find the Seremban number on the net. Could anyone help me on this please? icon_question.gif icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

dear skyjack, i noticed you mentioned in several occasions that the 408 has the electro-hydraulic steering which you love so much while the 407 does not. if i'm not mistaken, the 407 also uses the electro-hydraulic steering. Do correct me if i'm wrong but when i bought my 407, i noticed that it was mentioned in the brochure.
Yes the 407 is also electro-hydraulic. Tks for the correction. I was under the impression it was hydraulic only. Before the 408 was announced I was in the midts of getting a 09 407. The steering felt very light that I thought it was fully hydraulic. 408turbo feels completely different! Peugeot has raised the bar here to match Bimers on feel and feedback.

Ok, apparently you can set service appointment by calling their sales office as well and right away I could get appointment on Saturday.

Anyway, I forward this problem to my SA and he said that Glenmarie SC received a lot of problematic cars coming in and diverting future appointment to PJ to avoid congestion in Glenmarie. I think Peugeot owners in Klang Valley could try Seremban SC since I've easily secure an appointment during the weekend. Not sure if others has bad experience with Seremban SC before.

Yes, PJ SC is first come first serve basis, no appointment. So it depends on how early you come and how long is the que that day. When do you plan to do your first inspection?

8:30 am is max traffic time in PJ. I used to live in Kelana Jaya, usually start at 7:30 if I want to get anywhere in PJ by 8:30.

Most of us here will be coming up to the 2.5k inspection soon. A question for turbo owners. Has anyone encountered any of the previous THP problems? Mainly, oil leak, knocking, loss of power!

Hi, new owner reporting..

Taken delivery of my 408t on 29th June, white colour. Already booked for 2.5K inspection at Balakong SC.

So far no big issue. Alignment slightly pull to the left but already rectified. But now steering senget sikit to the left. Harsh sound from the engine during early morning start but I guess because of the turbo engine, bunyi rabak sikit kut. Phone bluetooth can only make call from previous numbers called. Not from phonebook. Average 9.7L/km. 80% town driving.

I stay in Cheras and saw another 408t, black colour in my housing area. But true, quite difficult to see one on the road biggrin.gif
