im was upgrade ori ICS with root. download from someone here in this thread using his BOX download link.
but why my keyboard does not function very well. all letters A to Z when im click will appear 'null'?

Try going back to recovery, wipe cache/dalvik and reboot.

actually i now thinking what rom should i use either stunner or alba? lol. any recommend? as i see stunner is only 200+ mb and alba 600+ is that much different?

do i need to install any driver in order for GN to be connected to PC by USB cable? Coz when i connect to PC nothing happen..

Alba is touchwiz based with Samsung apps n spent functions while stunner is plain vanilla ics

Managed to flash to Alba LPY yesterday but not without some issues.
Flashed to Alba but lost root. Tried to get it back but ended up with yellow triangle pulak.
Used Chainfire tools to remove yellow triangle without jig (as I dont have one).
Had a soft brick there after for some reason but managed to restore to GB LC1.
Then used Mobile Odin to flash German LPY successfully with root
Finally flashed Abla.
Fun times.....

Alba LPY is pretty stable - I was in Criskelo before (which was also fairly stable).
Only issue I used to have with Criskelo is the FC after saving a SPen screenshot which I'm happy to report is GONE in Alba LPY (It probably could have been fixed with a reflash to Alba V3 but I was too lazy to reflash just for one small issue.
So far no FC's. All of my apps have been restored from TB and MyBackupPro with no issues.
Battery life is about the same as Criskelo but it's still very early days. Able to get DeepSleep when idle.

I'm a happy camper for now....that is until another interesting ROM comes up...

Happy flashing and and for now, perhaps don't worry too much about the "gloom and doom warning of hard bricking'

It is not a root issue here, more of a kernel issue. So follow the developer instruction and flash abyss kernel 4.2 first and use its recovery to flash the rom. It is more of a preventive measure I'd say

Anyone know how much is the original back cover?

The back battery cover that come with the phone.
Not the flip cover.
My white cover is badly stain by cheapo case.
Cant remove the stain.

Look for it in ebay - around US $10 or use other alternatives eg aluminum type - also plenty choices in ebay. Original selling about US$26 in ebay
I remember some guy paying close to RM 90 for it buying from local resellers
