Last time at COE I saw an inspira (or neo, ayam forgot) with a big UR sticker plastered on its door. I am pretty sure it belonged to the sales gallery there. 

You should make a complaint. Imagine what will happen if the cloth gets caught in your belts.

so i went to check out my car, this time, it is really mine but queuing up for inspection so tuesday only can get car.

got my number plate also means it is really mine not others ;D

P/S: i also seen many with number plate one or without queuing up for inspection, they said it is new procedure called "pre-delivery" inspection. After inspections from the factory then again inspection mainly the engine part.

With new management i hope things will improve..

just collected my car. I have a few grouses.

1. my chasis is around 1300. feel sluggish wen moving slow. have to tekan paddle to move from idle.
2. d car wen idle to bout 5km/h got some loud vibrating sound. after exceeding 10km/h no more sound. its damn irritating.
3. engine sound kinda loud and all sorta weird sounds comin in except traffic noise.
4. wen braking from bout 40km/h above, got some weird helicopter chopper sound. not so loud but noticable.
5. interior feels large but cheap.
6. gear shift almost no light. Very very dim. only can see 'N'".
7. dashboard hard to close back. damn cheap feeling.

other than that d car feels ok for the price. i somehow feel persona was more responsive and lighter. the point no.2 is damn irritatin and im goin to the service centre to get it sorted out. would rate the car 7/10 (takin into account the price aswell).

chasis 1300? so why so late they deliver to us as their customer.

It is true we are getting outdated tech from perodua and toyota. But i have to admit these japanese have almost bulletproof drivetrains.

One of the reasons why perodua keep outselling potong is the reliability of their cars, and better customer service. The regular joes dont mind buying old tech cars as long as it can keep chugging away with minimal problems.

Daihatsu is not a partner, it is their parent company. Perodua has no R&D to speak of, all they do is assemble cars for Daihatsu so that they can sell their cars cheap cheap in bolehland.

In short, Perodua is no different than Naza or Simedarby. They dont develop cars, they only put together someone elses car.

This sedan car you speak of? It will be a stripped down version of one of daihatsu or toyotas existing sedan model, only assembled and rebadged here. Imagine perodua vios and you wont be far off.

The gps unit in my car is not that good. I never use Papago or tomtom. But I feel searching for roads and landmark is so much better using google map. Anyone know any special trick to let the gps don't auto correct the words for us? Sometime I type half way the gps auto correct the road name which is not the place I want to go. Any new updates or maps for this gps unit? Is very hard to search for building name. Or maybe example saujana. Or just peremba square it don't show up.

Yes, they need to improve and its up to all of us to give continuous support and feedback for them to make a change.

I would prefer if proton use google map navigator (the one in Android), since the car comes with YES wifi, its no problem to use google map navigator. Recently, google malaysia added congestion marks on the map...its so nice with red, yellow and green indicator to indicate the level of congestion on the road.

btw, is there any point of interest (POI) in the Preve gps ? with google map navigator, they have a lot of POI since it linked with google map/search engine. Type `nasi kandar line clear' you will be directed straight to the premise.

Sorry for the late reply, regarding the inspection this is what i heard from my S.A

every car in the showroom (except the test drive unit) were asked to send back to the glenmarie (subang jaya area) for turbo unit inspection. Still remember my lagoon blue? it was there at the showroom already but were sent to there as well while my current blackie were on its way to the showroom then were asked to turn back and sent to the glenmarie too.

Little did i know that i was so lucky cause the SA decided to tell me about the arrival of the blackie and asked me if i would like to change it to black so i
