I'm using an LG Heat Pump Dryer. Will have some noise but not disturbing. The dryer emits a 'klink klonk' sound and according to the manual, it is normal. Been using it for more than a year and stjll work perfectly fine.
*
Thanks. The sound isn’t really disturbing. The sound is like my old toshiba top load washing machine on wash cycle, but constant. My new washing machine, a FL washing machine from the same brand on the other hand is extremely quite.

I saw few videos in youtube on dryers, I think the sounds they are making is pretty similar, though not as noticeable as mine, probably because of the people talking.

My apartment only has yard and with no exposure to sunlight too. I don't buy the dryer, let the clothes air dry itself at the yard. No smell.
*
same i only buy washer only and let my laundry air dry. no smelly very clean and very satisfied with the washer im using. fyi, im using washer from pansonic the front load one, their function and technology is really great! you guys have to look up to this brand their product is really great and very good for household use.

I'm planning to get a washer+dryer combo due to space considerations at my place.

But of concern at the same time after reading through the past posts here, such combination are usually with longer drying hours ? or its usually happens during full load ? unsure.gif

previously been using an Electrolux separate configuration but it seems that their reliability recently has been in question. What would be a good option at this point of time ? LG FV1450H2B ? so far I've looked at Panasonic's NA-S106FX1LM 10/6KG combo due to its AG+ functionality that may/may not come in handy.

as expecting a new member in the household, so have to juggle between time convenience and also efficiency wink.gif appreciate some thoughts on this

if u looking for washer maybe can take a look on front load washer from panasonic but this model NA-V11FX2LMY. this one have all the technology and functions like stainmaster blueag and auto tube care. and also this one can load about 11kg for your laundry and mattress.

Hi friends, anyone know what is the heat pump technology on midea 8kg md-c8800? Can condenser dryer with heat pump? I can see the default power consumption is very high.

I think it's a condenser dryer. Power consumption above 2kW definitely not a heat pump based dryer.

Electrolux and they refer to their authorized service provider. Confirmed it's board problem and total is rm725 with labor. Technician advice not to use dryer back to back or the board will become overheated🤦‍♂️

Hey sifus!

I need some advice or recommendation. Due to the limit of space, I will have to settle with a Washer Dryer. So far I am looking at Toshiba TWD-BJ120M4M

Not sure if this model is reliable? If not, would need to trouble fellow sifus here to recommend some washer dryer. My budget is around 4k

I’m using one right now. Has been using it for around 9 months. So far no complaint from me. Clothes are drying well. Those who were complaining probably didn’t do proper lint cleaning after every cycle which might impair the performance.

Hi guys, I'm currently just started to use LG 15/8 kg washer dryer combo. I encounter this noise during drying cycle. Something like metal clanking/clicking noise. May I know is this normal? Is it valve activation stuff or something loose inside?

Edit: Ok found coin hiding inside the door rubber seal. My bad

Isn't that really expensive?

Around RM1.6-1.8k-ish you can get a 8-10kg washer/5kg dryer 2 in 1 combo from Samsung for example.

I believe this is due to the fact that KHIND gives an RM400 annual care plan with each subscription year. Yes, it is still pricey when compared to your reference. WD1438 is a 10kg/6kg washer-dryer.
