been surveying/researching some washer+dryer combo.
and got to know that the drying function takes a long time to finish the cycle, like approx 4-6 hours depending on model. is this something normal? was meddling with 1 Samsung machine last weekend but doesnt seem to have function to adjust the timing. the SA mention that the machine got AI function which if detects light load, the drying time will be lessen accordingly. a bit sus though.

any1 who has washer dryer combo can share their experience?

thanks in advance.

most avoid combo because the extra long drying time

like my case TWD-BM105GF4M. close to 4 hour if under normal wash n dry cycle. Good is dont need to manual transfer laundry. Hassle is to wait

Imagine u back at 7pm (Typical).. wait till 11am to finish (if fast), 12am finish folding clothes

i am consider to separate to reduce the time if possible or i can at least run the washer and dryer together for two diff load

Hi, can i get some opinions from folks here.

My budget is 4k. I want to buy dryer and washer for my small apartment (space is actually an issue, but i think we can squeeze in 2 separate machines).

I’m just looking at small capacity based on my budget and not heavy usage. Im also keen for heat pump for dryer.

May i know is samsung or beko reliable? Eyeing for 8kg only. I have pretty bad experience with samsung’s tv. No experience it’s washer or dryer. People often do recommend LG. But it is above my budget unless i’m going for LG washer-dryer combo.

heat pump dryer is not cheap. The dryer alone would cost you almost 3k - 4k already. No matter which brand

Some brands are cheaper, eg midea, samsung, beko; below 3k. Thus im wondering about the reliability. If anyone have experience?

Fair enough, since its a lesser known brand. As long it works well in the long term then its a steal

But for those who plan to stack their washer and dryer, better to buy both from the same brand that are stackable. I know LG is one of them

If you are like me who prefer to dump a huge load of clothes at one go, go for the biggest capacity you can afford.

If a washer dryer is overloaded, washing isn't as clean and drying performance will be bad (may need another drying session)

LG Direct Drive is not as weight tolerant as conventional belt meaning if you always overload your washer drive, avoid LG DD.

no issues if both the models are meant to be stackable

note that not all models are stackable
