im undecided between these models,
LG TD-H9066WS 9KG
Bosch WTR85V00SG 8KG

price is almost the same. keen for LG due to features and dual inverter, keen for bosch due to reliability (based on hearsay and readings)

Finally made some unexpected choice. Went to harvey norman on 31st Dec night and found this deal.
It's a Brandt 8kg heatpump dryer for rm1999. I bought together with the extnded warranty for rm2300. Power consumption is the lowest in the class, even lower than bosch and Electrolux.

Unknown brand, but with 5 years warranty by Harvey norman it is a steal. After 5 years if require repair and no parts/expensive i may consider buying new one.

It's french brand so should be ok? yeah it's important with lessor used brands here. I had a beko dryer, now got loud noise after 2 years dunno what's wrong. gonna ask technician check
*
Yeah French brand. i bought it simply because it's cheap (even with the extended warranty) and most importantly it is the most energy efficient.

I have Bosch Maxx Vario perfect washer for 6 years to date and its still working flawlessly. However, my Bosch Clasixx 7 dryer the PCB kaput twice already. 1st was after 3 years and second just last year. The washer is Thailand made whilst dryer from Germany. Tot gonna be the other way around in term of reliability tho.

heard that bosch's PCB will cost a bomb? read somewhere he was charged around rm1k for it

hey guys, just now i went and saw two good deal at harvey norman for condenser dryer..which two would be better deal?

BOSCH (WTN84201MY) - RM2391
Electroluxe 8kg UltimateCareā„¢ 700 (edc804cewa) - - RM3141

from the feedback, bosch part are expensive, while for electroluxe, seem like the there are issue right after warranty finish.
*
For me, i will just opt for the cheapest heat pump dryer. Save your electricity bill in the long run

actually i got consider heat pump..but since the dryer will be mounted above washing machine..
if there is any issue with dryer and need servicing, there will be issue to bring it down as heat pump dryer weight at least 50KG..

aah okay, different case with me.

Midea heat pump dryer less than 800? Better than condenser right?
*
of course. if you look at condenser based dryer, they are easily above 1000w.

Thanks didnt know that

I think i misquoted, it's easily exceeding 1800w for condenser based. I checked Electrolux condenser last time, its 2200w-2400w.

It's like buying inverter vs non inverter A/C. With heat pump dryer, you are paying more on capex but saves on your opex.

Here's the technical data for Electrolux dryer, https://www.electrolux.com.my/globalassets/...anual-en-my.pdf

Look at page 26.

Hey,
I currently thinking to buy dryer with heat pump or use the cooking gas not sure which is better . Looking to for below brand / model.

1.LG TD-H9066WS 9KG, Dual Inverter Heat Pumpā„¢ Dryer (RM4k)

2. Samsung DV80M5210QW/SP Heat Pump Dryer, 8kg (RM3.5k)

3. Rinnai RDT-62-RM-W GAS (RM3.4k)

Hope you guys can give any feedback / recommendation.

Back then, TD-H9066WS was in my list too. I managed to get around RM3580 (some shop in equine park).

But in the end I bought different brand from Harvey Norman, simply because the price is irresistable.

Hi friends, anyone know what is the heat pump technology on midea 8kg md-c8800? Can condenser dryer with heat pump? I can see the default power consumption is very high.
*
I think it's a condenser dryer. Power consumption above 2kW definitely not a heat pump based dryer.

heat pump dryer is not cheap. The dryer alone would cost you almost 3k - 4k already. No matter which brand

Sorry, I beg to differ.
