Just thought of taking my dad for a 3D2N short break in Langkawi. Could someone share with me the recommended hotels (~ 4 star) not too far from the town.

I plan to hire a car on arrival and move around the island from the hotel.

A friend asked me to consider Berjaya Air package and said Berjaya Langkawi Resort might be a good choice.

Any comments from your all guys on the above proposal. Roughtly how long the travelling time between Berjaya Langkawi Resort and the town centre? Thanks again.

Hmm i have check the berjaya air package and the resorts that come with it..

let me give u a simple calculation with the package and without..

With package. 558 per person if u stay at bella vista resort. 3days 2 night

without package i can get. 98 flight ticket per person... 159 for 1 night

Flight ticket = 98 (to and fro)
No of room =1 (2 nights) 318
total only = 418

if u go 2 person can share 1 room.

so flight ticket 196 + room 318 = 514 for 2 person compare to 1k for 2 person.

Compare it yourself and this is just from my personal opinion. The real consideration here is the flight ticket.. If u cant get the air asia and firefly promo then u can consider the package.

Not sure which planet you are from, but it was still closed when I was there last week.

about 20 minutes. the berjaya resort is just nearby the oriental village. walking distance.

Hahaha.. I also wonder which planet i'm from. Maybe Pluto.
But whatever it is, it was open during my stay (13-16 june). maybe closed again because the cable car was vandalised by my nephews

Hi guys. I am planning a 3D2N trip to Langkawi this weekend with my parents. Can anyone suggest a decent itinerary for us? I was looking through the previous itineraries but they don't include sky bridge and cable car, it would be great if we can include these places.
