Just thought of taking my dad for a 3D2N short break in Langkawi. Could someone share with me the recommended hotels (~ 4 star) not too far from the town.

I plan to hire a car on arrival and move around the island from the hotel.

A friend asked me to consider Berjaya Air package and said Berjaya Langkawi Resort might be a good choice.

Any comments from your all guys on the above proposal. Roughtly how long the travelling time between Berjaya Langkawi Resort and the town centre? Thanks again.
