No more Unipack package now, therefore I dont think u can upgrade at the moment, unless u go for 4Mb Blockbuster Deal but that is more expensive compare to unipack 4Mb

before my account was 512kbps, then upgrade to 1mbps packages but the speed got around 140KiB/s so it's normal?

maybe sometime can get even more until 180kbps

I'm a user of Streamyx 512kbps (RM66).
My normal max download speed is 60kb/s.
Since this November, my download speed is only around 20kb/s. 10kb/s at night. Maybe 50kb/s after 2 a.m.
Tried Rapidshare, Download.com, Megaupload and Realplayer installer.
What happened? Can someone help me?

i'm planning to downgrade but i couldn't make decision...
which 1 is much more worth to me?

2 tmnet technicians came to my house yesterday to upgrade my 512 kbps line to the 1mbps combo package (with free modem and cordless phone). they hooked up my modem to their laptop and did something not sure what. they left without doing any speed testing but assured me that my line has been upgraded. when i tried it in the evening my results on speedtest is as below :



this is definitely lower than what i subscribed to. i am using my own linksys modem and going into the set up this is what i see :

downstream rate - 1536 kbps
upstream rate - 512 kbps

i called 100 and the lady confirms that i am subscribed to the 1mbps package. she tried resetting my port but to no avail. she then said that i had better call the technicians to settle my problem.
am i wrongly capped and what can i do in the next few days before i call the guys on monday?

The difference is u can enjoy free n unlimited TM fixed line to fixed line nationwide call.

gentlemen, sorry if out of topic but just want to ask am on 1Mbps pack - since nov 2010 - youtube , surfing excellent BUT when using for U torrent download speed 1.2kbps. any help appreciated but apologies if wrong thread or incorrect question.

It wasn't the software fault. It wasn't your line fault. It is TM unethical doing. Market Streamyx as unlimited yet have FUP to limit the unlimited, and blame the users, charge more money to users, and many more.

just a noob question here..i applied for 4mb package n the Tmnet tech came over my house to check the connection yesterday (i complained before this becoz i was running 1mb for a month) when they connect their laptop to my connection it showed 4mb on the speedtest.net..the weird thing was i check the speedtest on my pc it showed only 1mb..is there any possiblities im having hardware problem or i just got punked by the tm guy?
