My friend said someone resigned after 3 weeks of working for this company. The manager has brought in her friend to assist her daily tasks. This woman is 100 times worse than the boss herself. She has been scrutinizing on small matters, such as "no tissues for staff", "keep the new tissue boxes in cabinet, otherwise the staff will steal them", "create trap to trap the poor cleaner until she got sacked!!" and many more!!! How can people work for this company?
I heard there are a lot more stories... maybe people from this company can reveal more?? |

If you guys do not mind to work with crazy women then join the company. Crazy woman has nothing to do. She asked her assistant to check the time in and time out report. If you step out from the company must inform or get permission. Ta pao for breakfast? ? No way! ! Long lunch? You will kena gao2. If you consistently spend times at pantry, you will be warned. Conclusion, she just want her staffs to sit in front of the computer from 9-5pm.

One more thing regarding this crazy woman is she loves to accuse her staffs. Accused her staffs sleeping in the meeting, accused her staff yelled at her. . She didn't show a good example. Her staffs are not allowed to work from home but she can work from home because of her dog.

No dental, no optical, no performance bonus, no flexibility... One of her staffs tendered and not allowed to take leave when servicing the notice. Have you heard of this policy? If she tells you cochlear can work for flexi hour. Please ask her to elaborate the terms properly. Her flexi hour definition is different.

Chariotannee: I am sure she has her reasons for doing the things she do. I find it hard to believe that a person would be so extreme. Maybe you are looking at this from a very negative angle? Or maybe you misinterpreted some of her actions.
Would be good if more (recent) input is given from different perspectives. I suspect there is a lot of trolls here. |

Low EQ Queen of Micromanaging in KL branch as head. Be very careful. Talk to some reputable head hunters and they will strongly advise against joining. Unless your aim is to bend your head down and admit to mistakes (even though the mistake wasnt yours to begin with) and get your salary by working your heads off in (more often than not) wrong directions; Join at your own risk.

I applied for the position and was closed to the offering stages. But I turn them down. Their working hours not suitable for me.
This level 1 service desk role is working for Australia time. Two shifts. Interviewed by VP and Head of HR from Australia. I completed an online test of Inductive Reasoning & Occupational Personality Questionnaire. Time given only 25 minutes. It's on purpose to test you overall. In order to fit in such environment, you have to be in right on time. Late even by 3 minutes is still late. Not much of room for flexibility. I just finished my interview with them.Interviewed by VP and Head of HR from Australia too. The question is tough and weird for lvl 1 service desk ( even I am not working on that role but the pay is quite good from my current employer ).
Anyway, I dont see any flexibility. The working hour is 6-3 , 3-12 and they will add another shift 12-8 for West Hemisphere, follow the sun SD. An example they asked is " What is the most difficult user issue you have encounter, how did you apply your analytic skill and your engagement to user?" . Please take note that they would not accept if you provide a technical explanation. It need to be general and not following any particular issue ( even they asked what is the most difficult user). Anyway, best of luck amigos. I turned this down too. |

who is that woman? IT operation manager or?
QUOTE(fair_coh @ Mar 28 2013, 09:15 PM) My friend said someone resigned after 3 weeks of working for this company. |

QUOTE(Keatsan @ Nov 4 2016, 04:49 PM) I applied for the position and was closed to the offering stages. But I turn them down. Their working hours not suitable for me. meaning that after you do the online assessment they give an offer? This level 1 service desk role is working for Australia time. Two shifts. Interviewed by VP and Head of HR from Australia. I completed an online test of Inductive Reasoning & Occupational Personality Questionnaire. Time given only 25 minutes. It's on purpose to test you overall. In order to fit in such environment, you have to be in right on time. Late even by 3 minutes is still late. Not much of room for flexibility. |

QUOTE(mayo_ness @ Jun 16 2017, 10:51 AM) I'm not sure of the offer, I turn them down before they could proceed. If you're a first timer, you could try to get the hang of it. Nevertheless, they are better roles with much room of learning and flexibility out there. This is an Australian company, so expect to work harder as an Asian. I'm sure the benefits are pretty good. But in terms of career path in the company itself, that remains a question. |

Sounds like lots of horrible reviews/experience by people, how about working from home policy? Does the Malaysia office allows that?

Most of the company once you tender, you get nothing. Please explain why there's TONNES for service desk who already been hired but still got probation ( even already work for 6 month).Every company also has their pro and con, depends which point of view you are from. You need the high pay money??? or you want to be politician to join the politics group?? Try to stay away from the negative comment, then you will feeling good. I could only explain in service desk environment. We have PIP for everything. Case logging..sucks? PIP Tardiness ( We do not mess around with tardiness. This is a school, no tolerance) Call quality sucks? PIP MC also is a taboo here. If you frequently not feeling well, please dont apply here if you like to have probation extension till they find a replacement for you. For anyone who are coming for interview, do prepare yourself as the person who will interview you, a man, is not from SD background hence the question might seems weird with you. Do prepare yourself being uncomfortable as I must admit, they did provide a very big money but as what Spidey always said, "With great power comes great responsibility". They pay high amount of cash for a reason. They are not looking for work life balance. This department is expanding with a witch on the helm. Hence she is trying to prove something to management. Maybe try to apply once everything cool down. But anyway, think again. If you want money, then you know and you must abide to all their rule. It is simple. Nobody pay high and expect good work life balance thinggy. Thanks! |

I believe I also have a very rough idea who are you. Just want to let you know, I am NOT afraid of you. Come find my mistake, put me in your PIP and release me. I motherfucking dare you.

Currently Susan Woon is in Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare working as the CIO since mid-2018. Same style, same erratic behaviour as was described. High department staff turn over ever since she join.

Hi all, this thread gone quiet after the “prev manager” left. No news is good news?
Anyone working in software development there? What’s the software developer management and work life like? Is the company policy very restrictive? Thanks for the advice. |
