Sorry to not reply some of you guys valuable messages as im kindda busy with work smile.gif

Anyway thanks for all the nice tips and opinions !!

Oh ya just to let you guys know i already make my decision, in 4 months time i will get a ducati 696 or 796 not sure yet but definitely either one of this smile.gif

Yea, i know its painful if i drop the bike while learning it but i think its fine for me as i can bear the repair cost so to me its like a punishment if i make mistake so i will stand back up to train harder with that bike biggrin.gif

So i will get it in 4 months time then i wil take another 6 months+ or more to learn around my housing area/empty space with a sifu/friend until i get farmiliar enough then i will proceed my bike test.

And for some of you concern about me getting big bike and not able to handle it due to heaviness and so fourth, just to tell that ima also a body builder and if my muscle now not enough for me to handle the big bike and i will hit gym more regularly with tons of lifting so i will get evolve and more hardwork until me and the bike blended as one loll...

So yea, thats my plan and we will see how a beginner like me handle a ducati as first bike in the 10 months transformation (get it after 4 months time + 6 months of bike/body training)...accomplishment will be shared biggrin.gif

Again, appreciate all of you guys who dropped by and the willingness to help !!

Thanks and my last reply on this thread !!!

Bro, advice are just advice. In the end, you are the one that is riding and all that's matter. Your determination already
shows that you are more than ready to ride. And it also shows that you have what it takes to learn to ride a big bike and it matters alot. So bro, I think u will handle it just fine smile.gif And u will also love your bike a lot and take care of it very well. Just enjoy the process of learning, even for those who are riding now, they are also still learning the curves of riding a big bike! So enjoy bro, and good luck! Anyway, my situation is like yours, we have the same objectives, kinda the same interest, bodybuilding, superbike when we haven learn how to ride. The difference of us is the being rich part and have no problem in paying maintenance and various fees LOL! So I might opt for a smaller cc bike, but if i am in ur situation, I definitely will get the bigger bike, ducati 696/797 is great!

sliders give you a false sense of security

sliders can also cause more serious damage. i.e. a bent chassis / frame or worse a broken engine block, if wrongly mounted

Its a stunning bike to look at, and nice to ride.
But its just...too basic for its price.

I guess its like buying the most basic BMW 3 series.
