Hi guys...
Not sure here is the right place or not to ask this.
I am planning to get a car and considering SAGA FLX exec CVT as my first car.

Would like to know what should I expect if becoming a Proton owner.
For a car with this price range, will it have a reasonable comfort (space, air cond & wind sound)...safety and good maintenance...plan to have the car for 5 years.

Im not a car person and usually drive between 80~120...not really mind the top speed just want good acceleration...and dont like headache dealing with fixing the car for at least the first 2~3 years . Will FLX meets my needs?

I used to have a bad mind set of proton and would like to change that and wanna know if its worth to try...because my other option is Vios E spec/Honda City....which IMHO, dont think for a 1st car I should spend a lot ...if possible. Also I only drive on weekends.

Hope can have some of you guys opinion....

For me i driving Saga FL, so far so good, but still got some minor complaint... for FLX exec u need to wait dares, V12k, ibnuasad, Jackalv2, huzaifa136, number92, iXora.ix and others which they all driving FLX~!

Minor complaint is good news ...but may i know what kind of complaint?
Because previously heard people got major problem only 1 or 2 weeks after getting the car ....like my friend with his Neo got engine problem after 2 month and also a friend with his Waja with window problem after just few months and another friend with Gen2 ...forgot the problem but quite major issue ....thats what makes me afraid getting a Proton last time....but my friend with his BLM so far so good...

Major problems, not so much. Maybe niggling little issues like rattling and such. Engine performance and handling is pretty good for the price. Also probably your drumbrake will make noise, which is more of an annoyance than serious problem.

Between the FLX and a Vios E, you have to ask youself: will an extra few hundred bucks every month come in handy? If yes, then FLX is a good buy. If the few hundred bucks makes no difference to you, then get the Vios. Do note that the FLX will consume more fuel than the Vios.

I should say that buying a car, FLX or Vios, depends on your luck. If you're lucky, you'll get a Proton with zero problems, if you're unlucky, you'll get a Vios with wheels that fall off. Most of us is somewhere in the middle.
