tat 1 i no comment coz i apply the rules for aircond hose. the external hose, with the sponge facing inside and smooth surface outside as to retain the temperature internally. and due to my filter box is actually a biscuit tin, metal ofcoz, so i assume the heat will transfer direct to the box if no insulation is done on the box itself. i got plenty of the insuflex so just main lekat2 lor~

Me also did some insulation for ext aircon hoses & pipes (the cold line?).
However, me got those "insuflex(?)" hoses used for hse (car aircon also?) split aircon use. Cut it open then put it arnd the hose b4 use insulation tape to seal arnd cut side.
Normally pipe is inserted (b4 install) into this kind of insulating hose wan.

no la...afterwards dares, V12K, mahihi and others kill me~!

just fyi, those heat insulation sponge are the same thing as insuflex as the insuflex supplier are from fridge and aircond repair workshops.

hi guys, i just got my flx cvt exec at the beginning of the month. just want to ask, does the campro engine growls ? My engine sort of growls unsexily like a toad from 2krpm to 2.5k rpm. issit poor sound proofing or the nature of the engine? my engine only clock 450km.

ur engine still young. after 1st service kasih break virgin sikit la by using break-in method.

thanks bro. been keeping my car under 3 k rpm . wanna rev it but too 'tight'. just now jam at bkt jalil for 1 hr, after tht the engine become more responsive when go back to sbn.

b4 1st service, keep it low. then after 1st service, kasih kao kao like u stolen that car. make it rpm 6k few laps if possible for every gear change (if u manage with cvt lar~). from that method, u can smooth the edges of the piston and let them stay put properly in the engine. it is a healthy way to keep ur engine smooth in future. u can always google "break-in" for new engines.

adeh..i still plan to slp more at the same time off my hp. u bring ngam ngam the balance ar..i no duit kecik.

by right the door noise insulation should direct go towards the door's outer metal, internally. means it should take place behind the door. that is why bitumen takes place. the rattling sound it due to the vibration between wind and door skin, the hollow internal of the door structure create an echo. insulflex in this case does not 100% kill the noise, even 50% also din kill (i doubt kill only 10%). if u want better noise insulation on the door, bitumen strips is mostly advisable. as for the wind noise at door gap, should upgrade to aftermarket door rubber seal (which i did that as well). instead of closing the door with a 'pang', mine became "koop", and extra strength is require to keep door tight when closing.

insulflex however works fine on hood and boot lids. but still, it is very subjective on the hood. as for boot lids, i confirm 100% if u even insulate the part where ur rear seat and the boot meets, definitely u cant even hear ur subwoofer properly after installing the insulflex ( and it is proven from experience).

did u sit before 1 layer at door frame and 1 layer at door panel???
