Wa, really high tech... rclxub.gif

Normal balancing adi expensive enuf, i think on wheel will cost a bomb, no? hmm.gif

Nvm one la, off wheel more than enuf adi la... tongue.gif

if really want to take into account real factor, then alignment should do with driver inside the car and another go tune at below, because current alignment method din consider driver inside the cabin, when they align finish, once driver get in, the steering will not in perfect position also...and with both passenger in front it will different also...

expensive meh? i saw a viva doing on wheel balancing with a trolley-like mesin. looks simple to me.
*
Not expensive la, 10-20bucks per wheel nia.

They do test drive it several times each time the do any adjustments, at least where i did my balancing la.

so hard to reach after 3k rpm??? huh.gif

As for N cannot exceed 2k, its the safety feature. Rev cut at N is at 2,500rpm.

Tks 4comments, Bro!
Was the Insuflex stuck onto main door panel or middle pc ( part with all the holes & linkages) or onto the inside of plastic door panel??

Anyone else did on other parts besides door panels?

on the plastic part, with the smooth surface glue towards the plastic panel.

also i did heat proof with insulflex on my open pod filter box.

Oh?
So the material has 2 kinds of surfaces...1 rough (porous like sponge?) and other side smooth?
If glue on floor panels/boot floor, which surface shld b glued on? Can apply glue on "sponge" surface?

So sorry re such questions...a need 2kno...

both side also can stick actually, depend on what surface u plan to act as the insulator. sponge surface are expected to be the noise absorb surface (however i doubt the insulflex 'plastic' sponge can do that scietifically). so the noise comes from the door's direction, hence u stick the sponge surface facing the door. if u stick the other way round, then i doubt the glue will distort the spongy surface to act properly.

tat 1 i no comment coz i apply the rules for aircond hose. the external hose, with the sponge facing inside and smooth surface outside as to retain the temperature internally. and due to my filter box is actually a biscuit tin, metal ofcoz, so i assume the heat will transfer direct to the box if no insulation is done on the box itself. i got plenty of the insuflex so just main lekat2 lor~

CAI? cai i din wrap, it is plastic material hence my mechanic say nnd to wrap it. he just ask me wrap the box and the ram pipe (and he say it is a must).

That means it's MORE suitable for sticking on2 door plastic panels...
Wld b a prob for use directly on2 floor panels eg on boot floor/under rear seat, etc., cos then gotta stick sponge side on2 surface liao! sad.gif

by right the door noise insulation should direct go towards the door's outer metal, internally. means it should take place behind the door. that is why bitumen takes place. the rattling sound it due to the vibration between wind and door skin, the hollow internal of the door structure create an echo. insulflex in this case does not 100% kill the noise, even 50% also din kill (i doubt kill only 10%). if u want better noise insulation on the door, bitumen strips is mostly advisable. as for the wind noise at door gap, should upgrade to aftermarket door rubber seal (which i did that as well). instead of closing the door with a 'pang', mine became "koop", and extra strength is require to keep door tight when closing.

insulflex however works fine on hood and boot lids. but still, it is very subjective on the hood. as for boot lids, i confirm 100% if u even insulate the part where ur rear seat and the boot meets, definitely u cant even hear ur subwoofer properly after installing the insulflex ( and it is proven from experience).
