the way i seen this tread going against the pictar is they assume proton is a godly cars manufacturer..anything problematic issued come fully blaming on the drivers..
*
well i believe these 1st batch are really lemon cars la, bad welding (persona has better welding job), those instrumental buttons failure.
I guess they assemble in rush to meet the launch date. Inspira also like this, coz some test car dashboard pon pasang tak betul.. BUt when the cars reached the customers, the Quality has improved dramatically

All Preve defects please discuss over at the pinned Proton Problems thread. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/499062/+860

If that topic is too boring for you to bash, then your only intentions of doing it here is to antagonise the fanboys. That's akin to opening an iPhone defect topic in the iPhone thread.

the point here is that proton still produce low quality parts/material and etc whatsoever to their product..nothing change much ..in fact proton preve is a newly published car not yet even on the road... doh.gif

we cannot simply 100% blaming the tester..but need to looks in detailed on the problematic parts..
*
ok, so if u drive a proton u should sell it coz its low quality part. if u r not, tell that to ur fmly or relatives if any.

i can't comment anything on the picture coz i don't know what happens, i'm not speculating. unless i have credible source. else people will just accept what i say coz that's the way people are, spreading gossips

does it mean if a lamborghini can catch fire, it is okay if a proton car catch fire too?..

"Lamborghini Aventador on fire on the CA 73 S near the 133.
No one was injured.
Dealership owns the car, and it was out on a test drive when spontaneously the rear (around the DR tire) burst into flames.
Lamborghini is still figuring out what happened."

description tell us that this unit burns and they also didnt know what actually happens..shit happens, and we also cant expect that kind of thing happens..im not biased and not proton side too...just to mention, shit happens anywhere...

on the fact of supercars, their engine produce a lot of heat, that's why easily burn if not properly handled. imagine driving a supercar on a hilly residential with manual, sure clutch will burn also.

but i believe people will forgive it, coz the owner must be rich, no problem getting a new one and in turns they actually hv a great performance

i think the only issue here is how did that happen until the tyre came off like that.

other so called 'issues' like button, and spot welding. i don't think those are issues. spot welding mark there has nothing to do to say that the welding is 'shit'. the button issue? i went to see the car with uncle as he wanted to replace his aging wira with this one and guess what? we went on the day after the launch, i saw quite many peopl did QC check for proton. so for me it's not a surprise to see things like that happen to proton car in their showroom. lol

Inconsistency.. on some units its very very obvious until u can see gaping hole as the metal mcm bended out..
more reason to claim that these first units was rushed.

The air cond knob already loose on some units.

obvious or not is not the main question here but with the incorrect alignment of joint metal with crappy spot weld..is it possible to increase the safety of the car itself as claim by the proton? thats the question that we should take in to consider though..
