To get rated by ANCAP must be sold in Australia first. Everything u heard before this is just unofficial. Just claim that preve will get 5 star.

it is designed to get 5 stars rating. unofficially they have done some testings in australia and spain if i'm not mistaken.

We are currently testing a new Proton but the result will not be available for several months.  Please see our website ANCAP.com.au for details of crash test speeds.

We will be testing the Preve prior to the release of the Australian variant in August 2012.  We are working with our MIROS colleagues in relation to the appropriateness of using the ANCAP rating to cover the Malaysian variants.  We will make a final assessment closer to the date of launch here.

The key criterion to get 5 stars is the performance of the structure in each of our very demanding crash tests.   If the structure is no good then airbags won't really help you.   Full details of our protocols for each of our star ratings can be found on our website in the media section.
In brief, to get 5 stars you need to score at least 32.5 out of 37 points in total (including 12.5 out of 16 points in the frontal offset test, 12.5 out of 16 in the side impact test,  and 1 out of two points in the side pole test),  a "marginal" pedestrian test score, an "acceptable" whiplash test score, plus have Electronic Stability Control, 3 point seat belts in all seats, head protecting technology (eg side curtain airbags) for the front seats and then another two safety assist technologies (there is a full list in the Road Map document on our website – they include things like emergency brake assist, land departure warning, daytime running lights, collision avoidance systems and the like).

Bro, if you can go to Glenmarie, I would advise you to go to the Ara Damansara branch.

1) Super long roads that sees little traffic
2) Bumpy roads that allows u to test suspension
3) Not as many people know about this place compared to Glenmarie which would probably be as crowded as a pasar malam

i didnt meant all those things, just the bodykit + leatherseat + dashboard colour oni 

drive it to believe it bro. i hit 190kmh on the Preve on the same road i drive everyday on my Waja with adjustable coilovers with Michelin PS3 tires and the Preve handles it alot more undramatically. In my Waja i grab my wheel tightly while in the Preve it just feels like normal driving. Dare I say, the NVH is comparable to my mom's Harrier.

proton did consider about it cos this is kind of like a inner part of a car, a concealed part.. cos u don really go look at the door area everytime u open the door..

perodua mybi also doesn have the esc, abs all other things offered in Preve. This is not a big trade off compare to what offered by the car.

proton is a proton forever, proton wira also proton, no one care and if you ask some old aunty and uncle, they still look down on you say you ''just buy proton only''

it looks more like a tack weld to me, spot weld, absolutely not~ spot welds in automotive industry are mostly automated with robotic articulated arms. . .

people like us know la what is spot welding tpi those people out there will give headaches to proton SAs huhu.. the public has never seen benda canggih in local cars..thought as crap

Maybe preve is high tech and all that, but we cannot ignore car is like a ''status'' for majority of people

not all people know car like we do here in LYN and we are consider as minority people who know some about car

thats all they know! thats why if image and status is your concern , better buy a car that can be use to fetch your isteri at your perkahwinan rather than a proton...lol

The car just launch for a few day and people always keep bashing it without thinking to much.
Anyway just went to the showroom at my area with my father, try to found out a new car. Since I heard so much about Preve, so we took a look.

And just we want to see this car,there was a guy slam the door hardly and knock the car like his own that car.
The SA just stand a side but not doing nothing. Than my father scold that guy and tell him "You tread the car like that for what? Even any car we do like that also can cause some damage". The SA just make a smile face that time. Luckily only few people at that time and the manager come at the right time to solve the prob.

u choose u wan subsidy or u wan duty abolished? u can only choose 1.. u think gomen do charity? if no tax how u get subsidy? malaysia income tax so low.. u compare outside see... i admit there is some rasuah this there, a country need money to run also, if not u think who give gomen money to run the country? preve is good enough aside from some thing like the aesthetically unpleasant welding spot, and some plain interior, and unconventional gearbox+engine behavior.. i havent test drive it yet, i drove savvy and city idsi before, savy i know got throttle lag but it is bearable, the car is zippy and fun to drive. city idsi, lousy NVH and also will jerk but only for those ppl who cannot control their foot. I drive city idsi, never jerk at all... my fren drive every day jerk like no hell, and say city lousy car lol.. man and machine interaction, my fren..

let say my clean income is rm2.4k exclusive of OT around rm300...fresh grad. am i eligible to buy preve cfe?
