Does anybody know the size for the number plate for K5?
I'm thinking of customizing a new set of number plates (with the holder) for the K5 for a friend as a birthday present.

This is very different than Malaysian mindset: German or Europe car is better than Japanese or Korean car in ALL espect.
Recently I saw one video in YouTube comparing K5 with passat but unfortunately they speak Dutch. The point here is, European car does not necessary good in all aspect. Doesnt mean Volkswagen polo sedan is better than Hyundai Elantra because it is Volkswagen

Is your boot messy with all the papers, emergency medical box, tools?

Boot organizer specially custom fit for Optima K5.
Left and Right are actually different shape and size, it fits perfectly at both side of K5's boot.

I only have 3 sets at this moment. Open for lowyat members first, if still got balance, I will post it at K5 Facebook Group.

1 set (Left and Right) RM150.
*if you only need one side, you can sell the other side to another member.

Book yours now, collect at coming TT (05-08-2012)

Contact 012-3073943 or PM

So you finally went with the Assy 2 eh? Much better tyre compared to Michelin PS3 i think. Hows the ride difference compared to the stock Nexen?

Guys, ive got something to share about the Optima auto transmission. I did a test yesterday. I made the following conclusions:

1) If you use the paddle shifters to manually change gears, the gearbox automatically up shifts when the RPM is high enough
2) If you use the gear itself (+,-), the auto upshifts are only for the Gear 1, 2 & 3 while it will hold at either 4,5 & 6 unless you upshift yourself
3) I found the acceleration in the first 3 gears is better using the gear shifting compared to the paddle shifters

i was quite impressed with the acceleration using the gear shifts as compared to the paddle shifters. I think it really harnesses the 163Hp and 198Nm of torque available (at its set RPM's).

Has anybody tried this before?
