Aiya... Just realize my k5 also got the 'nyek nyek' sound. Coming from the passenger side behind the driver. Only hears it when going through some rough road. Can't really hear on normal driving.

Also just realize my sunroof side rubber is loose. It won't leak when rain but when the sunroof closes it will 'press' the side rubber in together. Will take some picture tomorrow.

Other from these, the drive is smooth and solid. I got strangers come up to me and ask 'is this the new Lexus?' when I said 'no', it's Kia from Korea. They were surprise and they really like the design. then they start comparing with Camry and the designs is so so only. this happen to me in Penang today.

Added on April 26, 2012, 10:10 ami seen that before oso...when u open the sunroof, and close it back, the movement of the sliding mechanism stretch the long rubber seal and pull it out of its place...mine happen at the front passenger side top...u try to see if it happen to u or not, by standing outside of the car, standing at the front passenger side..look at the top front part of the sunroof, look at the nearest seal to u..then open and close the sunroof...

mine happen on the first few days, simple tuck in with finger again for few time, then no more lioaw...maybe tight fitting new car, after that fitment okay lioaw, no more stretching, so not happening to me lioaw...

but let me change first then let u guys know here lar...coz u know lar, these ppl will have "chamber nut must set, alignment must do, wheel nut must change" kinda additional charge

I didnt trade in my myvi when i got my k5 coz didnt get good price. Been trying to sell off to other 2nd hand car dealer for 2 months but also not very good price. Only offered ard rm31k max for 2007 myvi se. Any recommendation which website i shd try to advertise my car for sale? Not sure what is the transfer process if sell directly to buyer. Pls help

31K for 2007 MYVI is a pretty good deal if you ask me. i only got 36k trade in offer for my 2005 nissan sentra 1.8. .. .. .

I think i saw some 2007 myvi selling for rm34 to 36k on mudah.com. Thats why a bit reluctant to sell ao low.

i drove up once after 1K service. engine sound is loud and can hear engine roars like crazy. Fully auto will not get u up. I used manual gear 2 and 3 to go up. the car's too heavy and really i felt underpower. started to have doubt.....but once u have the momentum i think its fairly acceptable. i pass an accord and camry on the way up.

u need to be really really really really careful on the multi storey car park. i had a few close encounters. just ngam ngam can go through.

2 liter engine will sound loud upon hard acceleration/uphill due to the high performance setup. When the engine is pushed for the extra hp,it will roar. It's carrying the heavy body and uphill makes the engine work very hard. If the engine was bigger, then it does not need to work that hard. You'll find the 2.4 liter engine does not roar that loud, cos it does not need to work that hard for the same load!

After I try to 'tuck' it in... Much better... The drive side looks ok... But the passenger side still got a bit 'tuck' in. Can't seem to pull it out. Could be just the rubber problem... Look a bit loose to me.. Will post some picture once I reach home tmr. Still in Penang and it quite dark outside. Lighting not good.

Will go to red cube and fix my 'nuke nyek' sound later when got the time. Thanks for the info guys.

Bro, can ask when u mention ngam ngam, is it height clearance like speed bump n ramp too steep or bcoz the car is too long?

i have this problem too. I just reopen the roof and guide it back into place with my finger while the roof closes.

I noticed that the problem occurs mostly during very hot and sunny days, when the rubber gets heated up and expands.

Small problem, nothing to worry about.

True.... the same thing happened to my father.... his friends tought that his new Sorento was a Lexus RX....

Cause the front design is almost the same....haha....

Realll, KIA makes very2 beautiful cars after Peter Schreyer joined.....

Tried high speed driving on my father Sorento 2.4..... Super stable on b-roads summore...... speeds up to 160 km/h..... tackled with ease.... body roll almost unfelt.... but got abit la.....

I'm sure Optima with lower center of gravity will be better....
