QUOTE(gary_ckwai @ Apr 26 2012, 05:24 PM) i drove up once after 1K service. engine sound is loud and can hear engine roars like crazy. Fully auto will not get u up. I used manual gear 2 and 3 to go up. the car's too heavy and really i felt underpower. started to have doubt.....but once u have the momentum i think its fairly acceptable. i pass an accord and camry on the way up. Bro, can ask when u mention ngam ngam, is it height clearance like speed bump n ramp too steep or bcoz the car is too long?u need to be really really really really careful on the multi storey car park. i had a few close encounters. just ngam ngam can go through. |

QUOTE(feng yun @ Apr 27 2012, 06:43 AM) Collected my K5 yesterday evening, full tank RM125. Tire pressure also reduced accordingly. Ouch! Sounds scary. Need to drive it really like those lowered cars. But i guess it all abt remembering to drive slowly over bumps. But because of low center of gravity, my baby kene scratch when I pass a speed bump damn heart broken Anyway so happy and excited! |

Ori sunroof is oredi tinted but i wanted to cut the heat more rather than sun light. Yes there is a difference. Glass feels warm only. Outside temp 34deg.For me sunroof is most important because all the time expose to sunshine. Mine front and rear K emblem free from SA. |

I ll try that.Added on May 29, 2012, 9:10 pm QUOTE(daretodrift @ May 29 2012, 08:56 PM) I believe its timing chain based on the brochure pics.Added on May 29, 2012, 9:21 pm QUOTE(zapirwin @ May 29 2012, 02:30 PM) First, there is the noise at the back passenger seat, then there is the rattling sound from the moon roof, followed by the complain on the reverse camera. Now there seems to be problem with the side mirror at the driver seat folding slower than the passenger side. What else did I miss? Honestly, any car you buy will hav its own set of issues. Sometimes its a design flaw or juz plain unlucky. Current civic got steering rack issues, accord front brakes, golf tsi dsg failures, psa 1.6 turbo oil leaks etc. Despite all these known issues, ppl still buy. Brand loyalty or the joy of driving a good car. Be proud mate, this is my first korean n i hav no regrets.Getting mine soon but very concern with all these defects. Are there supposed to be so many defects for a new car? I hope I didnt make the wrong decision of going with Kia. Dun worry bout it. Juz maintain the car as how it shuld be n theres a 5 year warranty to back it up. Quickly put in claims if theres issues. This post has been edited by SA6YEuro: May 29 2012, 09:35 PM |

QUOTE(Leong Dei Prince @ May 29 2012, 03:03 PM) I thought the autofold will never fold at da same time? My friends driving Honda City, the side mirror at the driver side will fold slower then da other side. Same goes to my Passo side mirror. Not sure about benz and bmw. Any sifus can verified this? Mine was near identical on the 1st week. But when it started to jam as in fold half way then it became slow. My co car fd civic n bro fiesta fold at the same time after years of use. I guess its a defect. |
