If you want the best graphic card for money, i think the Inspiron 14R SE, i5-3210M + GT640M(28nm Kepler)@RM2199[2.38kg], 4GB, 500GB(7200rpm) is still the best option. Dell has already removed the spec from their website but can access thru http://www.dell.com/my/p/inspiron-14r-se-7...ron-14r-se-7420

If u are willing to pay a little more, you can get Inspiron 15R SE, i7-3612QM + AMD HD7730M + (1920x1080; anti-glare) + 32GB SSD + 1TB HDD(5400rpm), 8GB RAM (Final price RM 2,911.09). Apply coupon code Z0X576K3W513S?, You get FHD Screen, 32 GB SSD, extra 4GB RAM and i7 processor.

For Acer V3-471G-53212G50k/g/s, i5-3210M + Nvidia GT630M@RM1999, 2GB, 500GB black,gold,silver, Olympic

For Asus A45VD-VX053v, i5-3210M + Nvidia GT610M (2GB)@RM2099[2.4kg], 2GB, 500GB(5400rpm)

For HP Pavilion Dv4, -5114TX, i5-3210M + Nvidia GT630M@RM2399[Beats], 4GB, 750GB(7200rpm), W7HP

If you're buying in a hurry, then I'd suggest these:
Dell XPS 14z, i7-2640M + Nvidia GT520M@RM3449[1.98kg], 4GB, 500GB, Belkin Evo Backapck

Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E420s, i5-2410M + AMD HD6630M@RM3699[1.88kg], W7P, 8GB, 320GB (7200rpm), anti-glare

Toshiba Tecra-R840-2034X, i5-2520M + AMD HD6450M@RM3999[2.15kg], W7P, 4GB, 640GB (7200rpm), 3 years international warranty (1st year on-site), Microsoft Office Home & Business 2010

If not, then its better to wait then the ones above are running on relatively older technology...
New ones are expected to arrive in 1-2 month's time nod.gif

How about getting a laptop?
Since laptop will give a more promising performance right?
For laptop of 14" with budget 3-4k , any good suggestion ?

Than for programming or 3D editing, is better to use laptop than ultrabook?
And does i5 sufficient for programming and 3D editing?

Hello there guys, I'm looking for an ultraportable notebook for mainly for work & gaming.

1. Preferred Brand : Sony/HP
2. Budget : RM 2900~3500
3. Usage : Office works, AutoCAD design & moderate to heavy gaming (Diablo 3 mostly)
4. Preferred laptop/screen size : 13''-14''

Weight is a big deal for me, since I travel quite frequently. So getting something that's less than 2kg would be ideal. Thank you.

Hi~ I'll be going to university this September and I'm looking for a laptop.

1. Preferred Brand : Preferably Asus/HP, or any other that is reliable.
2. Budget : RM 2000~2700
3. Usage : Mostly for watching movies, listening to songs and assignments.
4. Preferred laptop/screen size : 14"

My Dad and my friend suggest me to buy one that comes with IvyBridge, but I don't really know much about that.
Please give me some advice. TQ
