Sometimes my left bicep, i cant even lift 10kgs 4reps. Regarding on the shoulder imbalanace since my left is higher than my right, should i work on my right? i have a feeling my right is lower cause i always transport heavy weights from one place to another with my right hand, my left hand completely useless

Im pretty sure your right can do like 15-20 reps for 7.5kg but can your left do the same? train your left first to cope with your right.

QUOTE(andyfriends @ May 23 2012, 11:04 AM) Oh, I was right. For weight, it has to be the opposite compared to the other machine. the heavier the easier. What about the hand grip given that there are 3 different positions at the top. which is for which? The different handles are just for variations of pullups. They will all work your back and biceps to an extent.

QUOTE(andyfriends @ May 23 2012, 01:38 PM) So do I keep to one handle per training sessions or use all? It's up to preference. Some people prefer different grips due to joint issues, etc. Ultimately you still reach the same goal.

QUOTE(gannicholas @ May 23 2012, 12:19 PM) I shouldnt be training 10kgs right bicep 7.5kgs left bicep right? 7.5 on both right? yea man. you dont want the imbalance muscle to be more obvious. takes time but its okay. All you want is to gain strength for your left and balance up your muscles.

Muscle imbalance are usually due to genetics or an imbalance of bigger things.i.e, your spine You can always get it checked out with a Chiro about how your spine joints are working

QUOTE(kicksense @ May 23 2012, 11:41 PM) How to manage exercise in fasting month? Got any tips? I would say that you need to plan properly. You have to eat your sahur, make your meal with plenty of carbs to increase your muscle and liver glycogen store (you will need these glycogen for daily activity and exercises). I would recommend you to either train on: 1. Almost the break fast time. Probably ending around 6.30 pm or a bit later than that. You won't be able to drink any fluid during your exercises and that would make you dehydrate. So, by exercise almost near to break fast, you can drink lots of fluid in short time. 2. Another one that I would recommend you is to exercises after terawih. Break your fast normally with protein and carbs but don't eat like normal people would do (eat a lot until too full). Then after you terawih, head to the gym. After gym eat a big meal then sahur another meal.

I believe casein would help a lot as well. And slow carbs.

Slow carbs? yea. Good idea Because I am planning to workout before the break fast time. So, i should load my self with slow carbs during 'sahur' time. Do you guys reduce the weight during this fasting month? Or change the workout? like less intensity maybe?..
