Just saw the preve just now. Even though certain parts look cut cost, but the interior does feel solid. I would say way better than elantra. Dint test drive though cuz needed to rush off

The interior looks better than in pictures, and the soft touch dash and front door panels are nice to touch. Door panels feel and look good. Back seat a bit soft but rear headroom way better than elantra.

good2, so many comments. If not mistakenlah, full manual mode need to push to side the lever. Erm, about the crack signal stalk, is it crack or sound crack coz u still hold the stalk even after turning the steering, n dont go back normal, is it means that the signal stalk not return back to neutral postion. If that the case, normal, not broken. But if physically crack, then its abnormal.

Centre console button near h u some are indicators only, not button.

About rattles, i think need to check whether come from the un properly closed glove box or the compartment near the driver's side,under the steering. Being subject of abuse, u knowlah,ha...ha...,but its good to abuse coz then know bleh tahan atau x, either hard way or the highway,ops sorry, malaysian way :-).

i sent the image i took using iphone the spoil buttons at the dashboard a few pages ago to the sale agent. sales agent says today lots of people molest the car. from knocking hard to slamming door. from get into the boot and sleep and slot in some paper in the key slot hole. some bring kids as well pull the seats pull the plastic press here press there even it is not button also pressed. cannot say anything cause customer want to try the durability of this product. never got see customer at toyota or honda or mazda or nissan or bmw or audi do like that also. maybe because of previous proton quality makes everyone want to check how good the quality and how it can withstand knocks. i think cause got the reinforce body steel. people curious people will do like that la. and the car battery because of keep on trying the push start keep on the radio and gps trying this and that the car no time to rest too. the test drive car from morning till afternoon 2 oclock when i test drive also never got chance to rest maybe is too new alot of people curious.

Well to you it's nothing to shout out. But for BOT kakis. It is. There's not many tiny turbo which come with water-cooled and oil-cooled. Moreover it's ball bearing. Try to get the same new turbo then you will understand how expensive it is compared to normal oil cooled ones.

Like I mention earlier in my post, it has boost controller but I don't know how they regulate the boost. The intake chamber is directly pipe next to the actuator. Looks like a t hose nozzle.

its just how it works. drive by wire + turbo definitely will have lag especially if start from zero.
even the Polo GTI have lag, don't see whats wrong with it as long as its not too bad. If want to try extreme lag, try the Savvy AMT

probably an internal wastegate... but its all shielded. how you manage to see? only the actuator is visible...

Yes, anyone who have driven gti or cooper before would know how it feels. The difference between preves lag and the other 'common turbos' is the power that comes after that. People tend to ignore the lag because of the power that 'pushes you back to your seat'. As for preves, I don't think you'll be getting that from what i read through the reviews here, thus making people feel its sluggish and laggy. The power u get from a stock golf gti is pretty scary as Ull burn ur tires just by flooring it. One of my favorite activities when I'm driving my friends gti
