I think P2 is doing alright, sure the car is not that great but from A to B it's ok. Like Vios ? tongue.gif icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

Gather comments from the experts and test-drives here, I can conclude that Preve has excellent NVH, acceleration a bit sluggish before 2000rpm, spacious and comfortable cabin (but loses to RaRa), plasticky dashboard, and arguably attractive exterior and interior design.
IMO Preve deserve the global car status but the million-dollar-question is will it sell well locally and overseas? What say you?
*
I don't think it will sell well .... But rather a stepping stone for ppl to start changing the view point over proton maybe...

Hmm...A bit of a noobish question - will all affin bank offer this rate, or different banks will offer different rates?

On a different note, one of my friends quite interested with this car...but she just bought a myvi se. It's only been about three months since she bought the car. Would it be possible for her to trade in the car you think?

1. Diff banks diff rates, I got 2.93, 3.22 and now still pending the last one.

2. Prepare to take huge loss doh.gif

Test drove just now, not only Preve but Inspira 1.8 as well.

Exterior - Overall the car looks good but it not that you will turn and give a second look.
Interior - Quite spacious but Inspira wins in this area. Almost similar like City but Preve has a better legroom.

Driver's Sitting Position - Not as comfortable as Inspira or City.
Your feeling while in the driver's position - it is just another Proton, unlike Inspira or City which gives you a premium feel.

Dashboard - Quite OK but could have been better.

HU - OK but the buttons around it looks flimsy and unresponsive when pressed.

Steering - Wish it could be a little bit more "chunkier"

Starting the Engine (sound): Good but Inspira better and my City is the worst in this area.

Moving - The steering is heavy and need a little bit of force to turn but the same cannot be said for Inspira which
is much easier to turn around although both are run by hydraulic. For City you just need a couple of fingers.
Noticed that there is 0.5-1 second lag to move the car from standstill position. I hate this and just imagine
when you have this lag and trying to cross a busy junction.
But once the car moves it is truly a real pleasure to drive. I am already at 120++ and did not notice about it
until I see the speedometer. It was smooth and silent. Acceleration is impressive but just that the lag that I
don't like. While accelerating you can hear Inspira growls and the City screams but Preve is soothing yet
fastest!Taking fast corners can be done with an ease and confident.

Overall Rating : 6.5/10

Pretty decent, blaupunkt. Not really a car audio guy though, best is you try it yourself. Audio stuff varies from one person to another. It's like choosing IEM or headphones.

First of. Omaigawd. You guys can post a lot man. 15 pages? Lol.
This is so true. I think of this car as Proton's last chance. The last Ace they hold. They mess this up...buhbye.
Dude, that's a pretty good feedback on the car handling. I mean...handbrake corner? sweat.gif At least we know the car can really deliver when it comes to the safety eh?
Can I kiss you? Been waiting for someone to post the black! I think I finally made my choice biggrin.gif Thanks man!

Here's a manly kiss *smooch*
I feel your pain bro. Posting from my phone can be such a pain too sweat.gif
valence-kor! You test drive dy. Demmit. I got no time to go today. Was hoping to slip out from the office in the evening...No chance. Haih. I think I'll go with the black. You going for the white?

Btw, our SA confirm the freebies liao? Oh and do you know what time they close? I have potential to poison 3 people brows.gif
Wah. You really hantam him 99 laugh.gif I thought if I could get the smart tag I'm happy dy. Must aim for more. Hahaha.
Wah. That's pretty damn good. Hmm...A bit of a noobish question - will all affin bank offer this rate, or different banks will offer different rates?
Erm. Whichever showroom or car display I go to, I'll be knocking the car. Lol. I remember checking out the Insight before. Do NOT like the interior. Damn plasticky. Now that felt cheap.
Just thought I'd add a bit on the bolded part. I'm 6 foot 1. Sat at the back seat...and didn't find any problem with head room. And this is with me sitting bolt straight.
Reading so many consistent  reviews about the low range rev gives me quite the chills. Must test drive it soon sweat.gif

So poisoned liao? laugh.gif
Wah. Pilkington? Really? Damn. That's good stuff there.
On a different note, one of my friends quite interested with this car...but she just bought a myvi se. It's only been about three months since she bought the car. Would it be possible for her to trade in the car you think?

You white I black lor. Yin and Yang. Together, we create balance laugh.gif

I should ask him about those freebies since the car officially out dy biggrin.gif

Another point to note, for someone with long legs, this is the first proton that could accommodate my legs without touching the steering...even without a telescopic steering wheel.

I'm sorry, but I don't get the "Premium" feel of sitting in a City or Inspira. Feels the same to me. Infact, they both make me uncomfortable due to the lack of legroom sweat.gif

Premium feel to me would be the Diana Merc. That one makes you feel like some mob boss laugh.gif

YMMV of course.

Dude, we don't know what sort of abuses that particular car has gone through .... for all we know, it could be some competitor sales guy deliberately spoil it and stage it to make Proton look bad ... as I said, ONE blardy picture and everyone says ALL Preves have problems. Sigh
