Short test drive review CFE preve: NVH - Muchhhhhh better than my civic 1.8 , better than my Bold.. Handling- Paling bestttttttttttt! . but need more refinement on the ?engine/cvt . feel slightly sluggish compare to Bold. whylah? engage S mode and u`ll feel young again. ahhaha

I doubt, he only highlighted that Forte has similar welding as Preve as well.

went to the serdang proton shop. they have test unit and display unit there. didn't go for the test drive but i have checked out the display unit. my views...
- still have the *plastical free* of proton interior. but looks better than the other proton models
- room space is quite decent. their brochure compares preve to forte, vios and city. around the same size
- Luggage area is huge!
- seats are not so comfy
- the metal works felt more solid than the other proton models

Better then Elantra? Althougth i'm not a fan of elantra... I'm also not impressed with Preve's cabin quality.

Test drive tips from mat79 biggrin.gif

- Switch to S mode.
- Don't rev more than 4k rpm
- Use paddle shifter or cvt.
- Turn of ESC & traction control.
- Don't crash. If you crash, don't blame it on me.

Turn off the ESC/Traction... then why bother to get a car with that feature wor... unless you intend to turn it off permanently... no point to test a car under differeing condition then how you will normally drive?

don't rev more than 4k rpm?why?is it because of it just a test drive car?my current car @ waja can easily rev to redline...what will happen with preve if more than 4k rpm?turbo cannot tahan?easily lag due to heat or what?make me curious.gonna visit showroom this weekend and will ask for a test drive...

If the car really struggle to hit 160kmh (as reported by a tester) then its gonna be real sweat.gif when kena cucuk by Inspira/Civic lor.. cause those can easily hit 180++

I suppose there is no replacement for displacement...

this is the very bad habit after watching topgear and fifth gear.

everyone thinks they can drive and they forgot their daily car is just crappy. unless you're those test drivers or jeremy clarkson.

they test on track, wont die.

if you try on LDP, some poor motor bike uncle gonna die for that.

i believe some sport cars, those who tested the car also turn off this same kind of function...just to know what the car can do...even the new Dodge... turn it off and have some fun...if u can control it...
