bro, this is different compare to my Exora BOld. In exora bold i can feel almost instant power when accelerating from standstill. i think preve has different tuning on CVT/engine
*
Hmm. Better sorted suspension? Less ass dip while accelerating = less "fusho acceleration" feel?

Tested drive already,

Speed: i'm not sure why but it seems to be slow, maybe it is too stable? i'm not sure how do i release the turbo so i only step and press harder to gains peed.

CVT: SMOOTH, gear transmission everything very pretty like my crush.

Sport mode: aggressive enough, can feel the g-force.

Cornering: 120KM/h i didn't even noticed, my friend told me one he was looking at the meter. Very stable but until there, i balless already.

Driving overal: 8/10.
*
when you feel "slow", did you look at the speed on odometer? unsure.gif

I think proton cars handlign have came a long way already... their lotus experience really paying off.

How abotu top speed bro... did u try push higher then 140kmh and how is the ability to climb after say 150kmh?
*
Erm, i'm driving at mrr2 on broad daylight, didn't really go to max speed, plus im not buying this car for top speed.

i felt the car hitting 200km/h is sap sap sui, but i haven't tested it. Upon reaching certain 'RPM' it's quite powderful

they have to realize their own limitation la...my waja dun have ESC and traction or even ABS...but manage to survive 100-130(corner)-170kmj (less corner, haha) in karak hway..sure this Preve can do better...hopefully we will not heard of any Preve involve in an accident soon enough... biggrin.gif

p/s: for sure there will be some1 will drive this car like crazy..

ha..ha..i said turn off esc n tc for a while to enjoy everything without electronic interuption, thats all but beyond 150kmh, all will kick back automatically for safety reason.

In full cvt mode,4k means the best balance between torque n hp produce. If beyond that, torque is lesser but not much, unless using paddle shifter, so, pedal to metal applied.

Just for enjoyment, not for daily driving. Btter let esc n tc on(one button for both function)

Har?! Really ah?! Not like SKYLINE ah?!  blink.gif

What is the difference har?
*
i duno u trolling or what...

anyway assuming u not trolling, skyline turbo is meant for pure power.. those type of car no care fuel consumption or meeting euro 5

the preve turbo on the other hand just a tiny turbo to help you in low to mid end power...

the diff between this two is this = turbo size

bigger turbo like those in skyline take alot of effort to spool.. a tiny 1.6 liter will probably take forever to spool it. But once its boosting, it will be powerful.

smaller turbo on the other hand are easy to spool, but they have max boost limit. Once it reach its peak boost the car will semput d.... which is why i believe many ppl say 160 no power d.

going top speed can be done by many car. issue is how fast you can get there.... your car will at one point sure out of breath one once it reach its limit.

Does this mean no high speed drifting with the Preve?

Jk, jk lol.

Great overall launch so far. But the reports of "semput" past 160km/h is disconcerting.

And no, I don't drive above that regularly. Really.

How do you turn off those ?

I'm not good with paddle shifter, guess I'll just put it at D and sit back and enjoy, the sound system is decent.

Heck it's wayyyyy better than my myvi

i like the steering respond as well, manage to have a short run until 120km/h

responding is great,

the greatest is everyone in that area all looking at you driving and i was quite aggresive i can say esp in the crowded area this morning. At the traffic light, i put signal to another lane people all give lane no problem.

then i saw Vios (Seriously, not here to bash) the driver give lane no fight with me also, peace ;D

oh one more thing i really want to highlight here,

it is not about the steering and speed anymore,

this car has the best breaking pedal and system, you press the break it react based on the level you push.

My persona break pedal feel like there are a bit gap there and you have to push harder, this one, nop.

5 stars i give for this break. Seriously.

Um um.. ehhe.. sorry sorry bro.. i trolling u abiot...

Anyway.. ya.. I'm aware of turbo... and how big ones, twin scrolls etc function...

myself.. is more a NA guy.. I wan a smooth consistent usable torque....

Anyway... I think i read somewhere the CFE max boost is 0.75bar? That's actyally pretty decent/high for a stock turbo and daily saloon car.

i think u can actually get better response and with a BOT @ 0.75 bar coz of the high compression...

Break performance is the best, this was also highlighted by Dr Wolfgang Epple yesterday night. Overall, Preve is good in terms of ride & handling, NVH, performance and safety in its class
