Hey guys, just wanted to ask, have any of you guys encountered FAKE GALAXY S2 before? I went to Puduraya to send off my gf, then was just walking around @ kota raya, alot of phone shops,

asked them if they have Galaxy S2, they said yes and said theres a special promo going on, price is RM 1199. Then they showed me the phone, the built quality is all good, but... THE OS looks totally off. It was sluggish while moving from 1 homescreen to another.

the small icons on top the battery and 3g icons looks big and different from the normal S2! checked the os version, it says 4.0.3!

Must be a very high end fake I assume? Or am i just over reacting?

it seems that latest siyah 3.1 causes some app data suppose to be inside sdcard instaed of emmc

after flashing to 3.1 all the data file location already move to emmc
messing up all the binding script i created

bro kazama82, unfortunately havent managed to root yet. followed the darklord zerling to root but in the process can see in window lot of file cant copy because dont have access.. therefore i assume thats y it cant root. any idea how to solve it

Guys latest siyah 3.1 is meant to match cm9 changing the mounting point of internal and external sd. If you're using aokp or older cm9 it will screw up the drive location. Gokhan was supposed to release a separate version for aokp but the hardbrick issue distracted him. Its best for you to use older siyah kernel or other kernel for now. Actually i am also now not sure how cm9 is mounting those sd cos many are complaining about it. It keeps changing.

Ah ok, susah la this whole cm changing mounts thing. but I can still see both directories, bht most likely they got swapped right. Now external SD became primary, that's y my pictures save there. Hmm wonder what would happen when I try to use ums
