Newbie question:
I just installed Google Pinyin IME for Chinese input.

From Samsung keyboard, when I press and hold the setting (wheel) button, I can select Google Pinyin. However, to change back to the plain Samsung keyboard, I have to go to Settings -> Language & Keyboard. Is there a simpler way to accomplish this?

get the most latest one coz the dev sometimes forgot to compile some stuffs so they will upload the more updated one later.

i downloaded and flashed checkrom v6 from checkrom website.

having fun with it until i notice i cant swipe away notifications.
i thought notification swipe is one of the bonus features of check rom?
why i dont have one?

is it because i flash a theme jkay?
i notice the original jkay was 13.6.3
after i flash my theme it became 13.6.4

is there a way to get it back? the swipe notification.
i know lots of you are check rom ex users, some advice from you guys will be much appreciated :-)

i know how u feel bro. haha. still a noob with all these. XD

if ur phone is not rooted, just upgrade ur firmware using Kies. if rooted, just use odin or MobileOdin Pro to upgrade the firmware. with odin, u just need to download the official firmware that u wanna upgrade to, and flash it. to root, download CF-root_XXXXX (according the firmware u downloaded) and reflash it. that's what i understand la. correct me if im wrong sifus.

yay looks like im getting to understand about all these! haha.

so let say i wanna upgrade to ICS, for example, LP7, i just need to download LP7 official firmware and CF-Root_XXLP7 to root. right?

yeah right now im still on 2.3.6, rooted. so i just need to download and flash using CWM/MobileOdin right?

alright. did backup using TB and nandroid backup too. hopefully everything will be good. XD

just flash gapps via cwm.no need to open it.the procedure is the same as flashing the cm9 zip file.
