9 years old MyVi SE.

The old original HU with eject / sound button..
Somehow the after market housing feels.. cheap and low quality.
Any idea if I can re-use the current housing and replace the HU to something else?

I don't really mind the SQ (actually I do but on a noisy car like MyVi it doesn't really matter).
Budget: 300-500 ish plus workmanship, can top up if there is a real need.

what kind of function/feature do i need to look for in order to have the mirror kind of function? i would like to connect everything wireless. budget less than 1K can get?

Look for something that says MirrorLink. I think it's more than 1k

I'm very interest in ICE, so I prefer for SQ & SQL, there are 2 options where the picture show below. so which is the best for SQ or SQL system.?

1) with X-over on the component set for Front door only (x-over need or no need better).?
2) carry on to use the 5" Mid-bass rear speaker.?
3) w/o rear speaker better.?

I Personally think that you think too much. And I also personally think that the more devices you introduce to the system, the more "coloured" the sound will be. Less is more.

Don't be thinking too hard on all these things, sometimes it's the tuning that makes the sound, not just the equipment.

1) cause my concern now is to use a 3 way Electronic cross over with passive or w/o is better.?

Whether active or passive setup, it's a personal preference. I am an active setup user and I'm quite happy with that. I've used custom passives, original stock passive and I just didn't quite like the lack of flexibility. But at the same time I know some people that use super expensive custom passives that cost more than their speakers and they are absolutely in love with their setup. I've heard their setup too and it's no doubt quite impressive. Then there's the issue of some passives that are massive power drainers like the Dynaudio passives. You need big power to drive Dynaudios via their passives.

So ultimately it all boils down to personal preference. Are you going to DIY this install? If not go find a responsible tuner and explain to him what you want. Listen to a few setups (that the tuner can introduce) and then explain to him what you want and what you don't want.

Then just pay the money.

Recomend me a HU for persona,

- no amp and subwoofer
- need BT function, USB is optional
- need to play spotify from my iOS (via BT)
- 1 or 2 DIN is fine
- prefer pioneer
- if use car play from iphone running waze will the CPU drain the power from my phone? or HU itself already have storage to run waze, just use data plan on my iphone?

I just bought honda jazz e spec, i would like to upgrade the sound system. Im planning to upgrade the door speaker and possibly in the near future buy an underseat subwoofer. For the speaker right now my budget is under 1k only. Recommend me speaker set to replace the door speaker. I now looking for audio quality and clarity. Any expert here can help me😁😁😁
