if you bother to do your research (eg: searching through the threads in this sub forum or even this very own thread), you'll realize that a reputable brand HU cost between 400-600, component set speaker (tweeter/mid bass) cost between 400-800 at the minimum unless you're willing to find used products.

anything below, personally i'd say manage your expectations properly: if it's good for you, good then. else, may refer to my previous reply.

Hello Sir,

Actually the shop are very honest to you smile.gif
Yes, we have 2015 Bud6S with crossover.

Previous model is Bud6S (until 2014) with in-line crossover (for price consideration),
and also Bud 6B a simple component sets.

If you ask me, you can use Bud6S 2014 model or Bud6S 2015 , both are good
and the different in tonal is less than 10 percent.

Best Regards,
Wahyu

1. no cross over means your HU or an external processor is needed to process the crossover portion. Your amps will need to individually power the tweeter and midbass. If you have good amps and it can process highpass, bandpass, lowpass, then even better. Else use external processor or built-in processor in HU. More expensive setup but probably more rewarding.

2. with cross over - cheaper option. Only need one amp to power everything up and you don't have to think about crossover.

All depends on what you currently got.

buddy 6s come with inline crossover and new model come with boxed crossover...

inline crossover is to reduce the cost, and some speaker do not need the lowpass on the mid as it's nature cut offed..

u wont need another crossover / active/ hu crossover to use with these component. just pnp.

Other info such as the following will also be helpful to get faster and more accurate responses:
- Your ride (Proton saga, perodua myvi etc)
- Prefer SQ/SPL/SQL (SQ being sound quality, SPL being sound pressure level, and lastly SQL being a mix of both SQ/SPL)
- File format/medium used in your source (flac, mp3 or ipod/CD/USB etc)
- Genre of music you listen to (classical, jazz, metal, etc)
- Setup type preferences (3 way, 2 way, active or passive etc)
- Other requirements (if any) (want to retain steering controls/original HU, new car dont want to void warranty, need to entertain rear passengers as well etc)

...or you can just copy and paste the following format when posting:
CODE

- My ride: Peugeot 308 Turbo
- Prefers SQ/SPL/SQL: Sound quality.... sorry not too sure about sound pressure level.
- File format/medium used for my source: USB, or hp bluetooth,
- Music genre: pop, instrumental, vocal, prefer something with a big soundstage (not sure if the term's correct), meaning I can hear each and every instruments clearly & separately , a little far away from each other..and not just blast everything right in front of my ear...painful.
- Budget: below rm 1k... max rm 1.5k (dont mind second hand.. but will prefer new to save the trouble in warranty)
- Setup type preferences: Not exactly sure what this means.
- Other requirements (if any): Car just pass warranty. but need will need to works with its original volume steering control.

I feel my car stock audiosystem is way below average... No bass, tiring and noisy when listen at louder volume. I am not sure if my car too much glass surface (big top panoramic roof & front windscreen) result in worse sound. Gf always complaint if my volume just louder by a bit.. end up I always listen to radio at the volume/quality of an Hp speaker.. Wish to change this.. cause is frustrating when I cant enjoy music.

Please recommend the speakers I can upgrade... and if is it necessary to change the player as well? I don't think i will want to add subwoofer or amplifier as I am not going to listen to clubbing songs boom boom boom in my car. Thanks.

Looking for cheapest head unit which can play audio from an iPhone directly through USB (audio stream, not file playback) and can charge the iPhone at 1.5A and above.

Please advice. Thanks!

- File format used for my source: USB
- Music genre: EDM mostly, and normal radio.
